Entry - 2 years ago I bought a drill and a jigsaw and made benches from pallets, then got more into DIY. Went to college and did a short carpentry course. Then I did level 1 over a year. Took a big financial hit but hoped it'd pay off. Worked with a few tradesmen over the summer, tried working on a building site and then discovered TaskRabbit. Now I'm self-employed taking on bigger and more complex jobs. Still trying to pass my driving test so for now I'm going around by bike with pannier sacks bursting with tools. Even got a trailer for 2 kids/a few small sheets of ply and some timber. I look like a right nutter in Wickes carpack loading it up. Just taking it day by day and keep growing. Making mistakes everywhere and always learning. Underquoting and working 15 hour days to keep the week on track. Needing a man with a van last minute and blowing the profit on his fees. But you live and learn. Would love to work with you, you're a legend.
Entry - I'm an apprentice and have started to do little Jon's my self like Doors and laminte and watching you has taught me alot I would love to come and train with you for a couple of days it would be amazing

Entry G’day Mate, my name is Benjamin Nickels. Im 16 and starting my 2nd year as a Carpenter Apprentice, i work for a small business where the need for personal tools in extremely necessary. I don’t have a large collection and desperately need to expand it. I’m trying to set aside money throughout the year for Work Related Goals, but apprentice wages can’t save a large amount. Majority of our work is 2nd Fix, in mostly the residential sector, and partially Commercial. These tools would be a game changer for me, thank you for considering me😊!
Entry - Love your videos mate, currently working 2 jobs my main job as a personal trainer and second with a plasterer joiner to gain experience and fingers crossed make the career change.
Entry - great video! I really enjoy watching your videos. I'm retraining at 34 (which feels well past it now) your videos have been really insightful into the trade and how to plan out making it work as a career. Getting set up is quite a daunting leap but enjoying learning and looking forward to getting stuck in!
