You always do great work. I understand when a client wants a task done "on the cheap". I look at my work done without the correct items and it looks horrid to me...but the client is happy.
Nice one I always pin external mitres, on boxing I stick and pin battens on the wall makes it easier and stronger I don’t think you’re charging enough, I know you don’t want to lose work but it’s easy to undercharge It’s worth putting an extractor on the table saw, save your lungs( that masks not a good one) Oh and you could do with a decent mastic gun !
Love watching your videos and there’s always good content. Keep up the good work and no need to apologise for not posting on UA-cam as your a very busy person 👍
Great video as always mate. I do think you should bump up your door fitting prices if you can. The market will dictate what you can charge but I think at least an extra 30 per door.
What App/ Software do you use to keep track of Customer accounts/ bill customer's, running your business, Paper work with Revenue, I'm sure your van is a mobile office, Beat's having to do the paperwork when get Home, Great Channel, Good to see your Generation with a Can do Attitude 👏👏👏
Another great video m8, great job, as a time served joiner and 😂 life long maintenance chippie, (we never had great battery operated gear in our day, state of the art was a Stanley pump screwdriver and a hand drill) can I ask why your power saw is on the floor rather than working at a comfertable height? I would struggle constantly getting up and down from there 😂
Love your videos ignore the comments and keep going. I believe if it works it's good.I 72 years old and I AM still working if we were not good we wouldn't be getting work and recommend.Any advice on what I should use to shoot videos on site just basic equipment would really appreciate.
Quality of work unfortunately pal, usually pretty spot on. I appreciate maybe the customer wanted it done fast, but not worth sacrificing quality, especially if your gonna upload it :s. Like I say, not just spamming, big fan of the channel 🙏🏼
This surely must be an AI generated comment,as a human being wouldn’t reply with such a daft comment 😂…You would build a whole false wall to cover that small bit of pipe work??… Dude,I hope you aren’t self-employed 😂
@@glov961able No, really, I would not bear walking into that room and see that ghastly boxing in - yes I would rather loose an inch or two, but I guess because I can do these things myself I would more like relocate the pipes, maybe under the floor and in the walls.🙂
I was thinking the same, but looking at the state of the house it's clearly a slapped together rental that they don't care about. To be honest I'd have just done it properly in the first place and either put the pipework under the floor or chased out the wallk, but got to do what the client says I guess.
Good effort but you could really do with spending a few months shadowing a well schooled carpenter. Theres too much for me to list but you're doing alot of the basics incorrect. Sorry if that offends you, you seem like a decent bloke!
This is the most unconstructive comment I’ve ever read 😂. Man’s doing a tidy job, takes pride in his work and always checks the customers are happy. You never stop learning as a carpenter and to say he needs to follow a well schooled carpenter is nonsense and insulting. Also laughable from someone who’s tried starting his own utube channel and fell at the first hurdle. Thanks for the content mate. Brilliant channel.
List the stuff done incorrectly, it will help us and him learn. Saying someone is doing stuff wrong but not pointing out what exactly is wrong and how to rectify is not very helpful to anyone
Drilling the holes with an impact driver......and doing the screws with a drill......it's like the marix
lol. Carpenter my arse.
You've become one of my favourite tubers, great easy to watch chill videos.
How are you finding that hoover over your old dewalt one?
@@AndrewWatkins-j3v thanks mate i really appreciate this , i love the evolution dust extractor

Hi mate love your video s you do you work so hard and do a 1; job have a lovely week 😊😊😊😊
Fantastic Video.
what's your thoughts on the Dewalt table saw, please? i currently use the larger 250mm 240v one for joinery, but should I swap it for a battery one?
great video mate
Nice one brother!
Decent job, decent guy, can’t argue with wanting to get off early. Sometimes it haunts you tho (cupboard door) I’m a chippy 3yrs into it. 👍
Great video! Can I ask why you use a table saw over say a track saw?

I use QuickBooks personally and works great, even tracks mileage so end of year it’s all on there
Keep it up pal x

Let's gooo!
hi how do I contact you for a media wall?
That's some horrible pipework. surely the long one that runs along the skirting could have been put under the floorboards?
Can I ask how long it took you to become self employed? Did you do an Apprenticeship?
I’d rather have not done the door 😕 but at the end of the day if that’s how they want it and they’re happy 🤷🏻♂️
Thanks for making another video.
Oh man, your health and safety sucks! Use a rod for gods sake, I flinch every time you pass a narrow piece through that saw.
I know I felt same 😮
Yes, use a push stick.
That door was awful, keep some 30 minute polyurethane glue on the van and a brad gun and you could of done the job better in good time
Looking forward to your UA-cam video showing the correct way to do it 👍👍

@scottk6775 clearly you know nothing about carpentry and joinery. If you did, you would understand my comment like others have.
