I absolutely love that the Imalent SR Lights couple intense brightness with good throw! And while my SR16 isn't quite powerful enough to make this list, she is still Very Impressive!

With this kind of insane photon output, if I stood beside you and switched on my Sofirn SC33 and Wurkkos TS22 on Turbo I don't think they would make any difference at all. 🔦😁

I own the 125 lm Fenix LD12 and I use 99% of the time, the 3 first modes and only when hiking outdoors, I use the highest mode. More thna enough light for me. I also own the Fenix E 20, which is also a grat flashlight, stronger light, but I prefer the cooler tone of the LD12, because it makes objects and distances, look WAY better and accurate, where the E 20, has only advantage on how colors look.In my experience, the older Fenix lights, with the cooler tone, are much better than the neutral,hotter newer models.
A matter of individual preferences. From what I see in the comments, people prefer more neutral light, or even warm light like from a light bulb. However, cool light sharpens the senses and is more suitable for activities such as work or as tactical light. Warm light calms down/puts you to sleep.

You compare junk to some of the best flashlights out there? It's like comparing a Mercedes to a Chinese 3 wheel TAXI. People who choose warm lights, are usually making their decision after watching videos and not after having real experience. 6000K, is the best light for 90% of the uses, except if you're [ainting the Mona Lisa, or a Rembrandt painting, where you need closer to 5000K, for better representation of the colors, where also no onjects come intoi play. DO your research.
For me the NICHIA 219B 4500K LED is still the king, it's an occasion every time you fire it up. It inspires confidence walking too through the rosy tint and good colour rendering, low cri cool tints, that mimic strong moonlight, and give a grey feel to everything, make me feel like I'm in an horror film.
What's amazing is you can actually see the SR32 out in front of everything else, just because of its dominating hotspot. If it weren't for the early troubles with the LEDs, the SR32 would be the perfect throdder light.
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TVin my imalent, the only issue I had was my ms32 charging software. I got it replaced and all is fine. The 2nd one even had better performance technically. So even better news lol.. I did update my video with everything when it happened so people would know 🙄. Still love the lights.
@MrSimonj1970 its not over exposed, camera setting wise. Usual ISO I use for 4K60. Base ISO of 2500. I use 800ISO for 24FPS but lower shutter speed brightens it to 2500 levels. Less grain at 24FPS.
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV its an impossible task with that kind of dynamic range, you did good, I just hate fully blown out whites with no detail. Totally inevitable with these monsters tho, and absolutely what you'd see IRL, for the first few seconds at least.
@MrSimonj1970 Auto ISO etc can be good to eliminate a white foreground, but you lose brightness in the distance. A regular SDR camera with no stepdown selected would capture a fully white screen with 500000 lumens! HDR is really impressive.
Flashlight nerds crack me up. I totally get it though. I have waaay too much money in knives, fidget, and other edc stuff. Not to mention I have a nitecore edc25 in my pocket right now

4:20 this is why I hate high Lumens thrower SPECIFIC lights (as in the beam pattern is aimed to be throw specific… I know these are all high throwers.. I own them lol)…. the glare of the beam keeps you from seeing.. this is where I feel like the ms series prevails over the sr series. I love my throwers and always will, but for anything beyond a couple thousand lumens, I try to keep throw more subtle because of this. Even the acebeam p18 with the quad sft40s are annoying because you can’t see through the beam. Def don’t regret skipping the sr series.

Tbh the first 3 struggle to match the MS32! Only the SR32 hotspot would be noticeable if I reversed the start-up order.

That's what the Lumintop GT94X is for. Of course being a thrower it's nowhere near as powerful in terms of lumens like these flooders.

And cold light is most often found in cheap flashlights from supermarkets... Strange, but that's what it is most often like.

My MS18 broke during the test, the battery top came loose, but fortunately, it tightened back up. I bet a lot of failures was this simple issue!

With these crazy powered lights you really need to get the camera well away from the torch, otherwise the back-scatter is hard to see through.
There was a lot of pollen in the air which didn't help, but the vid is to kinda show what it would be like to use a 500,000 lumens light.

Yeah I agree, the SR32 has limited use. It's more for aiming somewhere and people in that area can search etc.
