There used to be a bus drivers Competition on Queens Terrace, and all the Ribble crews were NUR [Railway] union. Because they were originally L & Y Railway.
Thoroughly enjoyable video. Lots of memories recalled of Ribble in and around my home town of Kendal. I will always remember the 555 to Ambleside and K11 which ran from Hallgarth estate to Rinkfield where my granny lived. I didn't see any Standerwicks. My favourites were the Gay Hostesses from the early 60s.

Gradely vlog TE. Used to travel between Garstang to Lancaster daily to school on a variety of Ribble Leyland Titans and Atlanteans in 1960s.
