What a fantastic punk and new wave collection you now have and in reasonable condition too. Some classics on there. Well done. Funnily enough I picked up the Sound Affects album by The Jam yesterday on cd secondhand.
X Ray Spex...❤.Wonderful. Can't believe you have heard that before 😮. Saints.Aussie punk band.Damned.Music for Pleasure, what a sleeve. What find those LPs are.Great hype sticker on Clash L.P.As I always say.Punks look after their records.Stranglers the collection is interesting, not a UK release possibly. Great finds
Great purchase! Best, for me, The Buzzcocks:Another music in a different kitchen (got that on cd). Keep the carrier bags however battered they may be. I've still got Singles bags from early 80's, probably not worth owt but worth keeping.
That's a good collection you got there. The "New Wave" & ".Roxy" compilations were my introduction to different Punk bands I'd never heard of before. Clash, Damned, Xray Spex, Buzzcocks are all part of the first wave of UK punk rock. Saints we're from Australia. Nice one 👍
There are only 3 copies of your saints LP on Discogs for sale in UK currently. The cheapest copy of your saints LP is currently 40 quid on Discogs, the dearest is £69.99. It's an awesome album, they were like the Australian Stooges.
Thank you. Yes, I have been lucky enough to fast track my punk collection. Just need time to listen to them all now. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment.
Some nice finds there mate, X Ray Spex and the Damned LPs particularly. I run a record shop in Bristol myself, Disc & Tape was a bit before my time but there’s 3 other record shops within spitting distance of where it once was these days.
Great buy! Thanks for sharing Your passion and adventures from Toronto Ontario Canada 😎👍♥️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️✨️✨️🔊🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🔊🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️💯💯💯💯💯✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️
WOW, again some great finds, the clash one is a reissue from the 80s, but its a great album ,check out the jam albums if they are originals they can be worth a bit of money, well done, keep up the good word, another great video, cheers, Dave
Buzzcocks and Saints were so influential with those LPs, neither going along with the sheep, preferring to plough their own distinctly different furrows and neither adopting the punk fashion cliche. Hardly anyone I knew or even met appreciated the Saints for the great band they were sadly.
The Jam got lumped in with the Punk scene, when they first broke, but as we now, Weller was a staunch Mod. The Snap LP originally came with a free EP. Very nice programme as well, which is probably from the farewell Tour in 1982. It was myself who told you of the band you couldnt read, Surburban Studs. If you cant read a band name, look at the label. The X-Ray Spex LP is the most collectable one.
All of these are mainstream punk except the Jam records, and Ian Ian Drury. Only the first two Jam LP's, In The City and This Is the Modern World are punk. (Snap might be a comp---I can't remember. If it has tracks from those first two albums then you've got some good punk there) You got some great records, mate.
Great stuff, the buzzcocks, the saints ,xray spex are amazing records, get your self a 12 pack o beer clear a space in your room and pogo till you puke, 😅 all the best and enjoy
Thanks, I guess your right but I did not catch them first time around so I am very happy to have found these now. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.
Thanks for your enquiry but unfortunately these will be staying in my collection for me to enjoy listening to when I can find spare time. All the best.
I appreciate that you don't know punk, but The Buzzcocks ,The Damned, X Ray Spex? These bands were big, fantastic bands... No punk, no electro in evolutionary terms... That stuff changed things, black and white kids took note, went back to basics worldwide, and did it themselves. That's punk!
What am amazing find...so many great Punk classics in those old Our Price bags!! 😃
Yes, I am well happy. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment.
Jam Snap originally came with a 7” EP when released. I am listening to All Mod Cons in the car at the moment
Thanks, I did not know that. Drive safe!
I have the 7” but lost the LP in moving.
I hope you find a replacement soon. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment.
All good titles. It took me years to get hold of most of that lot. The Suburban Studs l.p. inparticular is a definate rarity these days. Very nice.
Thank you. I was extremely lucky and grateful these came my way. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment.
Love to purchase that Jam tour book!
I think there are some on ebay at the moment.
Brilliant! I don't know anyone who didn't have that red New Wave compilation
That's interesting, I am surprised I don't see it more,. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment.
@@thevinylvault you'll see it everywhere now. It has some strange mixes of well known (if you're a punk) songs.
What a fantastic punk and new wave collection you now have and in reasonable condition too. Some classics on there. Well done. Funnily enough I picked up the Sound Affects album by The Jam yesterday on cd secondhand.
Thank you. I guess its the reward for putting in the hours. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment.

Thanks for your nice comments. I like the bags too. Its a shame we don't see more of them.

Yes, me too and my collection is building up nicely. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment.
I’m a big punk fan. That is a good batch of classic, mostly, UK punk. I’m not familiar with Suburban Studs and I’ve never seen that live Jam record.
Thank you, I appreciate your nice comments.
incredible find
Thanks, my thoughts exactly.

x ray spex great find
Thank you. I have been very lucky but I do put in the hours looking for interesting records. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment.
Buzzcocks and Saints were so influential with those LPs, neither going along with the sheep, preferring to plough their own distinctly different furrows and neither adopting the punk fashion cliche. Hardly anyone I knew or even met appreciated the Saints for the great band they were sadly.
You got to respect those types of pioneers, trend setters and artists that are often slept on. Thanks for taking the tine to watch and comment.

Thanks for your comments and for keeping things in order. I appreciate everything you have kindly shared.
The Jam happily lumped themselves in with the punk movement (not the other way round) until they didn’t!
Thanks for adding to the discussion.
Hope the Xray Spex had the inner sleeve.
Can't remember, I will check. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.

I'd say without looking through Discogs and finding them for you they are mostly at least £20 each probably more with some of them.
Thank you so much. Its hard to find time to do the research at the moment so its appreciated. All the best.
Great stuff, the buzzcocks, the saints ,xray spex are amazing records, get your self a 12 pack o beer clear a space in your room and pogo till you puke, 😅 all the best and enjoy
Thanks for your comments. Those days maybe gone. Maybe a cup of tea with my slippers on. Lol.
They were all pretty mainstream way back when. (You said "zee" dude!)🏴
Thanks, I guess your right but I did not catch them first time around so I am very happy to have found these now. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.
Are you selling these?
Thanks for your enquiry but unfortunately these will be staying in my collection for me to enjoy listening to when I can find spare time. All the best.

I was a little young the first time around but now I have the opportunity to listen to these classics thanks to the love of vinyl.
Just Buzzcocks no THE!
Yes, sorry I keep making that mistake.
They may have been big in the UK but not North America.
