Great post chaps and very enjoyable...Fantastic to listen in to your banter too, makes a lovely bonus..keep them coming 👍👍👍
Thanks mate! Glad you enjoyed it. Plenty more to come we've got big plans in the future to keep bringing entertaining videos to you guys
Wonderful Video guys and great finds !!! To bad about the In living Colour being to scratched😭, Very kool Uriah heep Comp as well. Cheers
Thanks mate! Yes I'd have had that if it wasn't scratched but we move on! I'll find one :)
beer and records..heaven...glad to see someone can organise a record fair in a brewery.
77th like ..!
not bad for a vibrators record day.!😅
First time checking your videos out. Awesome looking brewery record fair. Great choice in records. Cheers from Tx..!🍻
Hey Kris thanks all the way from London! You get many fairs round by your way in Texas?
Always cool to see you guys and what you might dig up 🤘 happy hunting
Thank Christ For The Bomb is absolutely brilliant - it is indeed their best, nicely done!
Bass player and singer for Hard Stuff was in a band called Quatermass before. One self titled album from 1970, and it's a masterpiece.
Thanks George! I've yet to listen to it but it's on the agenda! And I've yet to listen to Quatermass. I know Andromeda and Atomic Rooster and Hard Stuff but it seems the only related band from that I haven't heard yet is Quatermass. I'll give it a go!
@@thevinylhunters Well worth doing. UK first pressings are pricey. However it was re-issued mid 70s in UK with an alternative cover which is much cheaper.
Nice choice. There's a track on that album called Status People that is just incredible.
Really loveing these videos I've only ever been to one record fair belive it or not its ether ebay or amazon will have to break that habbit😊
All Groundhogs albums are great ! I have a few.
Happy for another video I missed you guys
More to come! we missed it as well but we've got big things in store mate! Stay tuned :)
That Groundhogs album was a bargain & you bagged the gatefold too. Nice find. Split is another Groundhogs corker. I think you'd approve of Patto as well. Heep, Rooster, 'hogs, Wishbone, Patto, all in that first wave of hairy British hard rock. Good stuff.
Thanks Nigel! I am aware of Split but haven't got one myself. I'll have a listen to TCFTB and then I may go and pick up a Split! And don't get me started on Patto! If I like them I'm going to be hunting for the rare swirl version and I'm not sure I can handle yet another rare one on the list haha
Vivid is one of my all time favourites, in fact i saw living colour on the 30th anniversary of the album :) they were mega!! A must album for sure
That’s a great Groundhogs album. The “Blues Obituary” album is my favourite followed by “Split” both classics and of course this one
Nice one Mike! Not heard anyone say about the Blues Obituary, you have stoked my interest!
@@thevinylhunters I love it, my favourite hog’s album. The first track B.D.D. is straight off a brilliant track, well, they all are, lol. And “Split” well, another one, the track “Cherry Red”, just brilliant. Hey, let me know what you think of the albums and your fave tracks. I’d be surprised if you didn’t like them.
You need everything John Du Cann. Andromeda, bullet, atomic rooster etc
That Groundhogs LP is a winner.
The traders must feel like running away when they see you pair turn up. They've got to cover their overheads, fair enough, but it kind of proves how much they've hiked up their prices. Great haggling guys. If I see fair priced vinyl, I won't haggle, just buy and move to the next stall.
Yes I'd say that dealers definitely see us and have to take a deep breath but all in all I'm sure they enjoy dealing with our shenanigans to some extent! It's always a pleasure :)
I like this dude, he is so much like me always ask for a deal, always do a discount
Where exactly in Harlow was this? Didn't know they had fairs in the town. Thanks.
I found a righteous brothers
Japanese Testpressing with
handwriting cover for 7 💵😆👍
😊❤
The poor dealers😢
ShuffleZzzz
I wonder if these guys would find it acceptable to haggle over a discount on their wages/pension? Cheeses me off when buyers do this at fairs. These dealers spend time sourcing, grading and pricing their stock, pay the stall overheads and, shock horror, some of them even pay the HMRC on their profites.
Nightmare customers for dealers!!
That Groundhogs, Thank Christ For The Bomb is a smoking good album. I have an original and a reissue, i think its such a good album and band. 👍
All our Record Fairs here in Western Australia take place in Pubs, Sports Bars & Bowling Clubs! My two favourite pastimes, Beer & Records all in one place!
That sounds awesome! Usually record fairs here are in halls or a church hall or something like that!
