- Right, as so so many people have decided to accuse me of faking my tics for clout on Tiktok, here is a video showing some proof that I have really got it :)
I bet all you ableists feel dumb now huh? 😂
Great video Lauren, sadly it's one that you shouldn't have to make. You don't owe anyone proof, keep doing the great work of spreading awareness and educating people about TS🥰
This is the first video of urs that I've seen. I want to say that I'm very truly sorry u have to prove u have TS. If all these tiktokers wouldn't have started faking disorders for clout or sympathy, people wouldn't question the ones actually afflicted with these disorders. Its infuriating. I commend u for being so brave and putting yourself out there (I can't even do it)
You lovely young woman! You have no need to prove a damned thing to anyone. God bless you.
I am so sorry hun that people are fakeing... I have a disorder that has fake claimers as well, and it is horrid cause it makes those with the issues have so much of a harder time being accepted and shit. so much love you got this and hopefully all the self diaogs and fake claimers fall into a volcano one day

It's really sad that today people that really have tourettes need to prove they have the syndrome because today there are so many idiot people who fake it. It's sad the lack of empathy just for attention as you guys try to show your life with real tics. You are awesome!
so close yet so far. it’s because of ableists. not because of this big group of people you’ve all made up that doesn’t exist. name at least 5 people with proof who are faking and then maybe that can be considered
i was diagnosed with ocd at 8 and adhd at 11, far before the mental illness trend began. i know exactly how you feel when it comes to proving your validity. these days, everyone seems to make light of rare disorders and border on appropriating them, and i’ve struggled with feeling like a fraud, feeling alone and feeling like i was misdiagnosed. you don’t need to prove yourself to anyone, the only people that matter when it comes to your mental health is you, your loved ones, and your medical professionals. i hope eventually we can all live in a world where we aren’t afraid to be ourselves
that green haired goofball gave yall a bad reputation..
Yep
You shouldn't have had to prove your tourettes. lt's nice for the rest of us to get insight
I didn't even need to have proof, I believed you almost right away because I have some form of tics, I'm not diagnosed because I suppress them around people, and barely tell anyone, but I have similar tics. Stay strong
i can't imagine how awful it can be to see so many people questioning your condition, and as i can see from some comments here, actually getting agressive over it? i'm sorry you and other people with tourette syndrome have to go through this
Okay ik this is a serious video but I just wanna day I'm in love with your Eyeliner! Also this made me tear up just a little because its hard not being believed about something that you have been diagnosed with and are still not believed
People can be so cruel and you shouldn't even need to prove yourself to cruel and invalidating fake claimers. :(
Don't listen to anyone! You are so beautiful and courageous! You don't need to proof anything) Just live the life happily and keep doing this great work of yours!
People who are saying stuff like that are sad empty angry people who hurt other people to make themselves feel better. Feel bad for them but don't let it steal your serenity ✨️ 💯 😌
Very very sad reality that the internet has magnified that people now think its cool to fake being neurodivergent and not only that use it to grow a following, You came up on my recommended btw
Are u implying that I'm faking? I can't tell 😂
@@laurenthetourettestictac1413 i figured youd think that lol but no i watched your video i believe you
Love you Lauren,,,love your video ❤❤❤
It’s actually very sad that people have to proof that they really have a disorder.
This is only thanks to those people on the internet who have the audacity to fake disorders for fame.
hi i´m new here but just wanted to say that i liked the video & also wanted to that you don't need to prove anything to anyone bc its only trolls that say dumb shit, just so that they can hurt other peoples feelings. all the love to you
I believe you, and I'm sorry people like Baylen are out there faking tics and not helping others with the syndrome..
Thanks, but baylen is not faking. Everyone's tourettes presents differently. Accusing people of faking helps noone, especially when you are wrong.
Amazing and beautiful.
Surprisingly I don’t blame the people who are calling her a faker, I’m blaming the people who don’t get a proper diagnosis and just diagnose themselves with Tourette’s or just flat out fake it because it’s people like them that make people doubt.
how can you not blame the people questioning? it's not her, or anybody's fault people just accuse anyone of "being a faker" instead of properly educating themselves before speaking about the matter
Try thinking about it this way: the people who fake Tourette's and other disorders probably have an underlying mental illness. The people who accuse us of faking expect us to provide "proof" that we are disabled before they treat us with respect. We do not exist to convince them we are disabled, and it is not their place to speculate about our conditions. Disabled ppl don't deserve to live under their microscope. If you think someone is faking, ignore and move on. DON'T comment/engage. Because if they are faking, you're giving them the attention they're asking for, and if they're not, you're harassing a disabled person. It's a lose-lose situation.
Hello from TikTok Lauren 😅
How come everyone who has this disease only tic with curse words, nasty words, showing the middle fingers, etc? They never scream nice, loving things when ticking.
They don't! This is a very common misconception. Only 10% of people with tourettes have swearing tics, and even with these people they have other tics besides swearing too. It's just that the media only focuses on the swearing side of things as it's more "entertaining" and has the shock factor. However, the swearing tics are thought to be to do with damage to the amygdala, the region of the brain that controls anger and aggression.
Don't pay any mind to the haters, let them hate all they want. The fact that they are hating on you only means that they are jealous of you or wan to be you ;)
Bich ain't no one is hating on her. They just didn't believe her.
Nice vidé thx
Off topic. Is that where they film The Great British Bake Off?
Huh?
@@laurenthetourettestictac1413 About 1:30 you show the place where you guys are at. It looks like the place where the Great British Bake Off is filmed! I'm probably totally wrong. It just looked familiar!
@@Momoftwoboysandonecat oh! I have no idea haha. It's called Moor Hall xx
@@laurenthetourettestictac1413 I guess not. I'm sorry. I lived in Suffolk for a few years. My British friend there has a daughter with Tourettes! She is a beautiful young lady. It makes me sad so many people are making light of this condition. I hope you're well!
You should not have had to post this and I'm so sorry for all the BS
oh bob saget

@@laurenthetourettestictac1413 ever heard of a guy named Danny Walters jr? if you search "Tourettes guy" on UA-cam you'll find hours of a guy known as Tourettes guy.
@@canadianpsycho1867 yes I have heard of him. Why?

😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😰🦷
The fact that you had to make this video is sad. People are faking so much that real patients aren't being taken seriously.
i dont understand videos like this people shouldnt have to prove a disorder it has nothing to do with anyone else espesally people who need evidence of someone elses disorder
yeah but why do u feel like u have to prove it ? you dont have to prove anything to anyone, if it's true, it's true and u know it's true and that's all that matters, you don't owe an explanation or proof to anybody
"You could have faked all of your documentation." will be the argument.
Stop engaging.
What is wrong with you young people who really cares if you have ticks or not you don't have to prove yourself to anyone. Grow up and stop being so damn sensitive. Or stay off the damn internet and you don't have nothing to worry about.
Why be so aggressive?
@@cybelliaw2084 Just tired of these whiny ass kids nowadays
You're calling me sensitive for responding calmly to literal threats online, yet you are the one swearing and being aggressive because a disabled person dared stand up for themself. PS, it's spelt *tics. And PPS, even if I stay off the Internet ableism still exists. People still shout and harass me on the street. How about you stop telling disabled people how to deal with the ableism they experience every day, and stay in your lane.
@@butta1059 where did I whine? I calmly explained that I am not faking my disability. You are the one whining about "you young people" 😂
