I have ADHD and overhearing (sorry if its not the official name just engilsh is not my native tounge and I am just trying to translate from my language) and I get this from my grandma a lot. That its not real, you cant have ADHD because you understand advanced math or she finally admites (kinda) once in a while its always "Its just a teen stuff" or "You will grow out of it" witch is by the way can be the case for some people with lighter ADHD but I have like more seroius type. Oh and my favourite "excuse": Its because you are on your phone too much. (Side note: I barely watched any television (20 minutes a day max.) until I was like 10 or 11. But I read a lot and I still do.

i have echolalia with my tourettes and i actually said "im actually a SALMON" but a really high pitched voice for "salmon" lmao

I’m not diagnosed with anything but I’ve hade vocal and motor tics for a year now and still the only ones I’ve talked to abt it to is the school psychologist and my mom who doesn’t really now what it is. Sometimes I fell trapped, like I don’t know what to do the moments where the tics is very active. Tics are not funny!

Honestly? I believe and support you. We all learned from ticsandroses how fake Tourette looks. You cross all the marks on how Tourette shows itself. I hate the fact I have to say it like that too, because it's sad people doubt it in the first place thanks to all those fakers..

As a ticcer and as a disabled person, we don't need people acting like detectives for us. The amount of people who cry "faker" at anybody with a disability is much more damaging than the few people who are out there for clout.

I have had people say I am faking my pain during flare ups. I pray they never know the pain I go through not only physically but mentally and emotionally too because of people not understanding.

i'm not diagnosed with Tourette's, but I did had tics. Once I was in the hospital for my diabetes stuff and in the waiting room there was this other girl with me and she was giggling because of my tics. honestly I found it very cute cause she was so pure ❤️
