My Advice If You're Buying A Golf Cart To GOLF With!

- Hey there, golf enthusiasts! If you're like me and love both golf and golf carts, you're in for a treat. I happen to make a living selling golf carts, and I'm absolutely obsessed with the game of golf. So, if you're in the market for a golf cart to use on the course, listen up!
1. Lifted Golf Carts: Sure, those lifted golf carts look cool, but I've got to be honest-they can be a bit of a hassle on the golf course. (I used one for an entire summer) Why, you ask? Well, you can't easily scoop up your ball while driving by since you're perched so high up. Plus, getting in and out becomes an annoying up-and-down routine. And let's not forget, depending on the lift kit, it can make the ride way stiffer and rougher compared to the factory suspension. Oh, and don't get me started on reaching way up in the air for your clubs if your golf bag is sitting much higher. If you're an average golfer like me, you're grabbing your clubs to often, and it can be a little annoying when they clubs heads are as tall as your head and you have to reach way up in the air to take the clubs out and to put them back.
2. Tire Selection: When it comes to tires, I strongly recommend turf/street tires, and here's why: Firstly, you might find yourself driving in wet conditions, and nothing's worse than knobby all-terrain tires flinging mud all over you and your cart. Secondly, some golf courses have rules against all-terrain tires because they can damage the course. Yes, all terrain tires look cool, especially if you're buying a lifted golf cart, but they make 22"/23" radial turf tires that are the same size as all terrains which still look great and will give you a soft ride on the course.
3. Two VS Four Passenger: If you're only planning to use the cart for golf and golf only, and you don't need extra storage or seating, a 2-passenger cart is your best bet. However, if you think you might need a backseat to haul friends, kids, or grandkids around, or you fancy the extra storage provided by a backseat, consider going the backseat route. And here's the kicker: having a backseat doesn't mean you can't haul your clubs. Nearly every backseat comes with a golf bag attachment option, either permanent or removable. Speaking from experience, if there's ANY chance at all, that you'll have friends or family that will want to go on golf cart rides, and you a buying a golfing golf cart, then buy a 4 passenger, you'll thank me later (and you can enjoy more storage).
