This was something Samurai Shodown 3 did all the way back in the 90s. Melty added on top of that but I think either that or Super Turbo are the precursors of a character being a package.
Variation is just dividing a chars moveset by 3. Never understood why I would play one over the other if it’s better. Just give me all my moves bruh :(
Fun fact: Sion shows up in Fate Grand Order as a magus and not a vampire due to differing timelines. Nasu loves his alternate timelines. That's actually why things are so different in the different series. In Tsukihime things happened so that vampires are more important, while in Fate, events occurred so that magi and Servants are more important.

I'm legit disappointed that Ryougi's Last Arc never popped up. It's probably one of the best Last Arc in the game visually, to the point that she used it again in FGO.

3:42 Not sure if you know about this already but there is a mod for the Caster version called Concerto lobbies which eliminates the issue of needing to share IP addresses. It also acts as a visual front end for Caster so the UI is a lot cleaner.
When Woolie went to Chaos and Sikanto pivoted their choice to Roa, I thought for a moment Woolie was going to get to see the absurdity that is a top tier in Melty. Sikanto picked F Roa instead of C though. Edit: Saw a little bit of it later.
C Roa isn't a pick up and play top tier I feel. It does requiere some execution and understanding of his unique mechanics, but once you do, oooooh boy.

Always great seeing this game get some play. Absolutely love Ryougi Shiki's stylish moveset and that her stage (at 50:45) has great music. Unfortunately, I don't think that stage is in the default build of the game on Steam, since it was a PS2 only stage (community version and mods have it though).

I'm getting into this game solely because the character I liked the most happens to be god tier according to most people whereas usually they are mid to low.

I hope that even after Reggie and Woolie got completely bodied by all the Melty Community mods that Melty still gets to enjoy being shown off even more. It's really fun to watch Melty with all it's air dashing, corner combing madness and I wish there was at least a few more fighters that follow suit.

Meanwhile, Shiki has to deal with a whole bunch of family issues at home and not bring attention to his involvement in these things.

Melty Blood is the shit. Some of the freest movement of any traditional fighter. Good enough variety of options that even CRoa and FHime, which are pretty blatantly overpowered, don't overcome skill with top players playing shit like normal Akiha, Sion, Miyako, or Nanaya. The GOAT imo.
