I’m sorry but yes. Your car is slow which is fine. They’re not meant to be fast. My old Taurus SHO with turbos was a billion times faster and was barely quicker 0-60 than what you’re claiming so I do not believe you.
@@dunktherapper don’t believe me? Look up road tests. Some got 5.8 slowest test I’ve seen by magazines was 6.3. I got 5.6, 5.8 two tries and one owned fast cars. If you car was slow you have a mechanically issue. If no issue I don’t believe YOU.
There would be nothing to best because of the wood on the steering wheel. My 17 es350 had heated steering wheel with wood the same you have style. The wood was cold and it barely heated up the little sides but I guess it was okay. My 21 es350 has wood but now wrapped leather around it kinda how Infiniti used to do back in the day like early 2000s q45.
I love mine. I got a 2002 with 160k miles and it keeps on going. When I went to the DMV in my local WI area, a guy in a Porsche cayenne told me to hold on to it as it sure to eventually be a collectible. Keep on the timing belt! It has an interference engine, so changing that will be the most expensive thing you’ll need to do every 90k miles. But overall maintenance is easy. By the way if your navigation cover gets jammed, don’t worry that is common and can easily get un-jammed at the dealer.
I remember my first time driving this thing and I immediately thought something was off. Years later when I got my 07 BMW 550i sport,it came with run flats on a car with sport package?! Would love to see you review a 3rd gen Lexus gs 350-460
Bought a 2002 example about 6 years ago for 11k bucks and it drove awesome. Slow as a mug. Got stuck in the snow twice here in Kansas so I sold it for 9k. I look at the prices and wow. They’re selling for 20k.
RWD in the snow never a good thing. I am in NJ and it really doesn't snow more than a few times a year...fortunately mine stays in the garage October through April! I paid close to 30k for mine but it has very low miles...the plan is to keep it forever!
Nice! They’re really cool and unique cars which is what I like. I’m in a 2014 S5 now so I’m tearing through snow and it’s more sporty for me which is fun. Hope yours stays in great shape.
Slow? I have one timed 0-60 in 5.6 seconds. 155 top speed
I always wondered why they didn't migrated the SC to keyless when they did the 2006 refresh.
TOPHER can u not review this car so that it isn’t a million bucks when I try to buy it? Thanks.
That is why you buy a lexus and lease anything german luxury.
Cool Mom!
I hope youre looking into getting the timing belt changed if you havent looked already.
You can see a sticker at 5:30 that shows the belt being changed at what appears to be 87k miles or so
It makes approximately 280bhp
S2000 is the best of both worlds you turn a key and push button start 😂.
HEY that looks EXACTLY like my OLD office building!! LOL
I think you meant cassette player since Lexus has offered CD players for many years that
I remember my first time driving this thing and I immediately thought something was off. Years later when I got my 07 BMW 550i sport,it came with run flats on a car with sport package?! And they were awful. Handled like shit and felt like bricks. I found out Lexus was doing run flats on these things so maybe that’s why clarkson hated it. I love Lexus and I was shocked but I had no idea. Run flats ruin a car severely!
Tophers mom is pretty cool
8:27 your mom has great taste in music I’mma just come right out and say it lol
ain't necessarily no relaxing Cruiser, if you use that stick you can really rip butt.
What brand did you use for headlight restoration?
I used polish and a polisher for maybe 5 mins each lens became showroom new.
Should have tested the Mark Levinson sound system! I bet it is good although it is old.
I need to burn the sound test track onto a CD 😂
@@TheTopher No worries, I did not realize the car did not have bluetooth.
