I am not on a no buy this year but I am trying to monitor my purchasing in certain categories so I can use that money for homeware since we bought a new house this year. I am going to try to stick to a replacement only no buy for skincare and keep track of how much I'm spending on beauty purchases this month. I am trying to really limit the amount of new clothes I buy since my weight has also been fluctuating a lot over the past few years. I'm trying to be smart and only buy new clothing that is more accommodating to weight fluctuations. Not to pursuade anyone into buying anything but for example I splurged on a Youswim swimsuit last summer because I am sick and tired of having to purchase a new swimsuit every year so it made more financial sense for me.
Yes!! House projects definitely take a chunk of the budget! 🫣😂 congrats on your new home!! Ooh I love this approach! I think as I keep a replacement only no buy going it’ll be interesting to see if I still think my replacements are worth it! Yes buying clothes FOR your fluctuating weight is so so important and I’ve wanted to make a video on that exact topic for over a year now. Especially with my background in tech design/fitting I think it would be helpful. They should teach us these things in life 🤣 oooh I’m adding to my list of things to check out bc yes it gets old replacing different sizes!♥️♥️
I’m on a low buy this year as well! I gave myself a monthly budget and a list of exceptions (items that wouldn’t count toward my budget). So far so good. I’m hoping I stick with it all year! I’m intrigued about the declutter bingo card you mentioned
