@@lovinglifeasmegan Because right now your buffet and the open door will create a boxed in space which will restrict access. If the door opens on the wall it’ll give you free access to the fridge even with the buffet in the way. This does mean that the door will not open beyond the 90 degree point and that can make removing shelves etc. harder. So, the solution is to move the buffet further to the other side so you don’t end up boxing yourself in. If there’s a counter on the other side, consider removing the baseboards to create a more in built feel so it feels like an extension of the counter. It looks to be about the same height.
@@lovinglifeasmegan because the way it is now you kinda have to wedge yourself between the door and the wall when the door is opened. If it opened the other way, you would get in easier and be able to put things onto or from the counter more easily. I did it to my fridge, it made a huge difference. 😊
@@michaelsnider2484 there is a handle on the door, so no one has to wedge themselves anywhere. It just opens when you pull on the handle. If I were to switch it, the door wouldn’t open all of the way. It’s right up against a wall, so the door would hit the wall every time we open it. Did you ever consider that I could have intentionally had the handle on that side, because I wanted the door to open that way, because it is my house, and I know what works best in my space? 🤔

@@lovinglifeasmegan Most people move items between the fridge and the counter, and it makes it more convenient. With the fridge open, you'd have to close it (or if getting out multiple items, would have to walk around it) plus take several steps, to put items on the counter. With as much as I cook, and having to haul out fresh produce and other ingredients, having the door like you do, would drive me nuts. It also swings out into the kitchen walking space, as opposed to the wall, which might get in the way if multiple people are in the kitchen.
I used the equivalent of 1/2 a pint for this project. That’s about $17 worth of paint at full price. However, you can save 15% with the link & code that I provided in the description, in addition to any website sales & promotions. There is no prep work involved, so you aren’t having to purchase sandpaper or primer, and there’s a built in top coat. This is a one step product. Keeping that in mind, I’d say this is cheap.
Why in the world would you roll on paint with the furniture right up against the wall - really?!? How about pulling the furniture away from the wall first. I just can't!
Why in the world would you care how I paint this in my own home? If you’re worried about making a mess with the paint then move it away from the wall. I am a very neat painter, and I understand the way that water based products work.
Small suggestion… have the fridge open from the other side, so the door swings towards the wall.
Why would I do that?
@@lovinglifeasmegan they were just giving advice. You know what works for you. But also, being kind matters
She’s right you can flip the door very easy should be opening against the wall, they are reversible
Then you would have to worry about the door hitting the wall.

I love it, specially with the glass top!such a great idea!?
Thanks! We are really enjoying it 😊
This turned out so good. I love it. Have a great weekend ❤
Thank you!
You should flip the door on your refrigerator for easier access. Only takes about 15 minutes to do.

What nasty replies from the channel. 😕
fridge door handle is against the wall ???
Yep
What are the bubbles on the 2 bottom drawers?
It’s water damage from the people who sold it to me
Very nice.
PS: Your refrigerator door swings the wrong way. 😆
It swings the way we want it to.
Wow, the color Pebble looks pretty darn good!! Thanks so much for sharing, I love you upcycle!!
It’s such a beautiful color!
Just a suggestion but you should have the fridge open from the other side. Some refrigerators have the ability to be switched.
Why would I do that?
@@lovinglifeasmegansome people prefer the ease of having the fridge open towards the counter when it only has one hinge.
I love it! Beautiful, just beautiful!
Thanks!
What’s happening with that spot on the front?
It’s water damage
This is gorgeous! ❤
Thank you!
Absolutely Beautiful..Love this so much!❤

Great video-wonderful design but Plz flip your fridge door so it opens to the countertop. Takes just minutes!

Why did you buy 3 paints if you were only going to use 1 paint colour
I wanted to swatch them, and have them on hand for future projects that I’m planning 😊

60 dollars for that little container!?

59 $ 4 a quart 😮 😢
The entire room is grey except for the floor. No bright colors.

I can see the big non-sanded spots on the two drawers.

Why is your fridge opening backwards?
If it opened the other way it would hit the wall & we wouldn’t be able to pull the fridge drawers out all the way.
