I must say, I liked the second book of the Shepherd King more than the first, and was glad I finished the duology in the end.
Also, thank you for reminding me of books I've head in my TBR for far too long, like Belladonna and Mexican Gothic. I think I'm moving them much higher because of your recommendation. 😸🍁🍂📚

Tbh i also rlly loved the first. The unique scenery with still standard fairytale vibes, amazing love story and pretty exciting overall. I listened to the audiobook so maybe that is the difference. Havent read book 2 yet, but glad if it is even better !

I’ve been wanting to get Long Live Evil. I plan on picking it up from Target tomorrow. I really want to read it. I may try and get it into my October TBR. I still need to read House of Hollow. Maybe I’ll throw that into my October TBR too.
