Seems to be a later version of this Ai-s lens. Only 3 screws holding the mount mine has 5 screws. Earlier version has a completely different internal system.

With the AI version, I've seen another youtuber scratch markings during disassembly, to help get things aligned exactly (the diaphragm position in particular) during reassembly. Is that advisable/necessary with the AIS version as well? I notice a significant difference in designs between the AI and AIS versions.

Marking the pieces is a good practice for precise assembly.
