I think Spaceballs should've taken number 1. The ultimate 4th wall break is one where the characters use their own movie to progress the movie. Genius.
I'm just pissed that the end scene in Blazing Saddles didn't even get an honorable mention.
Philip Winn it's like one of the best movies of all time... it should've been number one! "you brute, you brute, you vicious brute!!" haha
But what about the scene in Spaceballs where Dark was like
"You fools, you didn't catch them. . . YOU CAUGHT THEIR STUNT DOUBLESS"
xDDD
Raezon Thomas or when the President ran the entire length of the ship and said "sorry, if I walked, the movie would be over"
Raezon Thomas or in the duel between lonestar and dark helmet, when dark helmet kills one of the camera guys
Robin Hood: Men in Tights should have been there
I love that scene where he's like, "Let me see the script!"
Good one 👍
Dhruv George
(Ezekiel) Zeke Hamish Beckley: I love that part too!
Robin of Lockley: (Goes through the script then yells out pointing to the part in the script) *WAIT I GET ANOTHER SHOT!!!!*
Maid Marian: He gets another shot! Does he get another shot?
Prince John and Mervin the Sheriff of Rottingham: *pull out their scripts, look through them and say rolling their eyes* Yes, yes he does! *puts their scripts away*
I want to like this comment because I totally agree but...69
Alright, no problem.
I'll just fox it to your office...
To Mel Brooks, the fourth wall is merely a suggestion.
You put Ferris Bueller over Spaceballs? Spaceballs was one continuous fourth wall joke.
BIlly Blackburn or blazing saddles
All Mel Brooks films break the 4th wall
@@nightisright1873 Cept for the Producers. Cept even that is still a satire of the theater industry.
I have a special thing in my heart for FB since my cousin did the score for it.
Ferris bueller was awesome when it comes to 4th wall breaks.
Isn't a 4th wall break where they acknowledge they're in a movie or game?
The term 4th wall comes from the fact you can only see three walls in shot (usually) The 4th wall is the camera lens itself. Anytime they directly talk to an audience, despite the medium, they metaphorically "Break the 4th wall"
In theatre, the 4th wall is the proscenium arch, unless you're on a thrust or a theater in the round.
@@numbchomskull Ahh sweet, I didn't know that but it's roughly the same concept
There’s a lot in Skate 2 and 3
In happened in books before too but fuck them, right?
Next year deadpool will take all these
Shockwave Muncher Oh yeah, XD.
Shockwave Muncher Im so touching myself tonight.
limpylegs There are already 4th wall breaks in the trailer.
limpylegs Deadpool says "que the music" to the camera, and also tells the audience he is touching himself later.
limpylegs Yeah, but um, that is still considered a 4th wall break. When the character turns his head, looks directly at the camera, and then points to it and says "Que the music." I am pretty sure it is a 4th wall break. I am sure there are tons more actually in the movie but only in the trailer their are a couple.
Spaceballs should have been #1. That and Blazing Saddles were some of the most creative 4th wall breaks ever.
And History of the World, Part One. And Young Frankenstein (though there are aren't as many, and they're subtler).
Just remember that it's not "Frankenstein" but "Frankensteen" :)
They should have just made Mel Brooks number one and had clips from each of those films mentioned.
Damn your eyes!!!..... too late.
Parodies are somewhat more free from the standard movie-making "rules", so naturally they would have a lot of 4th wall breaking.
Also, I agree about Blazing Saddles. The moment I saw the title of the clip, I thought that would be #1.
Pretty sure Blazing Saddles defined 4th Wall breaks with that end scene
That whole ending was a reality break and perfectly surreal and hilarious. However, earlier on Harvey Korman looks at the camera as if speaking to himself asking 'How will he find such a sheriff', pausing and adding (to the audience) "Why am I asking you?"
Harvey Korman's "why am I asking you?" was funnier.

@@IronPlaysMC lol
This subject needs an update, because Deadpool would easily be on this list if not the #1 spot.
I'd say not to include Deadpool because it is pretty obvious but yeah although we should have an update on the topic
But if it’s a constant fourth wall break is it really that worthy of number one, if it’s all the time it draws away from the fourth wall breaks comedy
@@ryankost1953 no I'm not saying it's not worth the spot I'm saying that it's obvious that it's no.1 so they should just make another list till no 2 😂
@@rehansrivastava Update the list and *include* Deadpool......as the host ;) 4th wall break inside of a 4th wall break with 4th wall breaks....that's like 64 wall breaks!
@@marcwolvertonphotography2423 that made me remember calculus.... Dark times
Am I the only one who thinks The Emperor's New Groove belongs on the list? The multiple fourth wall breaks are so damn creative and funny
nope
Yup you're the only one
naw
Joseph Johnson yeah. Haven't seen that movie in a long time so I don't remember any though.
Joseph Johnson I have that movie on DVD and I have never seen any 4th wall breaks.
The Simpsons movie opens up with a great 4th wall break. Homer stands up in the theater and says "if you ask me, everybody in the theater is a giant sucker! Especially you!" and he says that pointing at the camera!
What about Bart writing "I won't download this movie illegaly" on blackboard?
Peter Griffin you have fg star wars.
I agree : P
Well I watched the movie in my living room on DVD! The joke's on you, Homer! Ha, Sucker!
I love that scene!
What about Emperor’s New Groove? That one is really funny and very underrated.
yes but only the beginning had a 4th wall break
Keyword "film" not animated.
should have the blazing saddles scene "Why am I asking you?"
What about "Robin Hood Men In Tights"? They check the script to know they needed to give Robin another shot in the contest.
Or when that one camera crashes through the window when the woman was taking a bath.
***** For.me, Deadpool is the master at 4th wall breaks
The Random Guy this is 4th wall breaks in movies
Magical Midget Pete so they'll need to make another list of 4th wall breaks in movies, in 2016 when the Deadpool movie comes out
***** Yeah, an I also liked the Blazing Saddles 4th wall break at the end, when the fighting cast breaks through the set of the "French Mistake" rehearsal. (Piss on you, I'm working for Mel Brooks!) I guess you could say that was a literal 4th wall break :)
Deadpool didn't break the 4th wall, he made the 4th wall
Deadpool should have been #1 on this list
Yeah, you should have sent them a clip in 2014 when they posted this video.
fuck you and your deadpool idiot brothers
itssPanda then beat it to a pulp
the mask and monty python made the 4th wall
...that Spaceballs 'now' bit is the greatest bit of fourth wall breaking ever...
When will then be now?.......soon lol
There's a good scene from George of the Jungle involving a character arguing with the narrator and the narrator messing with the character through some funny editing that I think is worth a mention on this list.
You were fighting with the narrator!
I love George of the Jungle
Yup at least honorable mention. If it has Brendan Fraser they ignore the movie. It's a shame.
Deadpool in Deadpool
YAAAAAAASSSSSSS!!!
this was done in 2014...
HOLY SHIT DEADPOOL MADE A REFRENCE
mike carr too early for that
Orlando Pulido you're overrated
How is that 5 second scene from Hot Tub Time Machine not on here?
My favorite is from the Muppet Movie- when Kermit and Fozzie meet Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem, they're asked to explain how they got there. Fozzie is about to go into a long story about what lead them to this point. Kermit quickly interrupts him and says, "You can't tell him the whole story, you'll bore the audience!" Fozzie looks right at the camera, “Oh, sorry.” , so Fozzie pulls out the movie's screenplay so Dr. Teeth can read it.
Watching Spaceballs I thought to myself "I wonder if Watchmojo or somebody made a video about 4th wall breaking"... lol
Space Balls didnt break the 4th wall, Space Balls incinerated the 4th wall.
+owen atkins Nice. You could also say that they disintegrated it.
+Howie H and they did it in a way that went from suck to blow :)
+DiverCTH They must have passed through it a ludicrous speed ;)
+owen atkins There wasn't a 4th wall to begin with.
+owen atkins Incinerated it with Spaceballs: the Flamethrower.
Now that Deadpool is out I expect a new list to come out
Ha ha ha I agree with you deadpool is a good movie they need to make a new list
+Forest Armstrong: Deadpool did worse; he _exactly_ copied the Ferris Bueller end scene :D
+Forest Armstrong And all thats on the list IS Deadpool
Just commented about Deadpool too loved it
Spoiler alert: Deadpool does Ferris Bueller's Day Off as his after-credits.
Burt Reynolds in "Smokey And The Bandit" when he eludes the police.
Yes! This was the best 4th wall break. Police chase. Loose the Police. Pull forward, give a smile to the camera then roar off in a classic Trans Am.
@@shadowhammond8603 At the time it was filmed that "classic" Trans Am was a brand new Trans Am.
My favourite 4th wall breaking moment was in Trading Places when the Dukes were condescending to him and eddy Murphy played along and looked at the audience with the priceless glance. So much communicated without saying a word!
That was brilliant. "Pork bellies, which is used to make BACON..." 😄
How is that 5 minute clip from "Hot tub time machine" not in this?
5 second
Epic fail.
I always try to fail epicly.
I scrolled down just for that, so thanks ;)
This is so ironic, in such an original way!
My favourite 4th Wall Break moment was in the film Funny Games... In the scene where he kills the family dog and sends out the wife to look for the dog and keeps on telling her she is getting warmer and warmer... When she is about to walk right up to where the dog is... he turns and smiles at the camera/audience for just a brief second... It's very subtle but very dark and chilling at the same time. (This scene was in both the original and remake)
WHY ISN'T SPACEBALLS AT NUMBER 1???
LW Overflow I need answers to that
To make you interact with the video and leave a comment
When?
Buster Keaton did it early in "One Week" (1921). Breaking the fourth wall to cover the camera with a hand while co-star Sybil Seely was stepping out of the shower.
Very good comment, so true !!
What about, "The Emperor's New Groove" where the emperor, literally pauses the movie, and highlights things, as if he's watching it with you, and drawing on your screen.
Men in Tights?
That was nothing BUT 4th wall breaks.
xD
AND one of the greatest movies in history :))
Gar96 We're Men, MANLY MEN!
FloweyTheFlower [MHTARDIS21] they are manly men doing manly things
YETH!
"If we so rich why we can't afford no ceiling?"
Thats a good one, but a TV show :(
"Made you look!"
Genie, Aladdin
I think we can all agree Spaceballs should got number 1
Yes
Yes
How could they not put the 4th wall at the beginning of Spaceballs:
"You got that?"
I've never really counted the ones where it is a constant part of the movie (like Ferris Bueller's Day Off or Waynes World). I think what makes it good is being inconsistent with the way the rest of the movie is handled, and having a feed in to it that kind of catches you by surprise when they make the actually break. And, in doing so make you realize the last several sentences were actually directed at you the viewer.
"I'm not the first guy who fell in love with a girl he met in a restaurant, who then turned out to be the daughter of a kidnapped scientist only to lose her to her childhood lover who she'd last seen on a deserted island and it turned out 15 years later to be the leader of the French underground."
"I know, it... it all sounds like a bad movie" 10:58
I've got to say one of my favorites is the big one in Funny Games, where Peter places the bet with the family, then asks the fans who they bet on. Not as iconic as ones such as Ferris Bueler, but the mood made it memorable to me.
Spaceballs: Died when they did that "instant videocassette" bit when I saw it in the theaters. Convinced me to make it my very first DVD purchase when DVDs were a thing. Movies should break the fourth wall more often.
If that did happen Batman would be punching your face in 3D in the theater screaming "WHERE ARE YOU?!?!"
***** o my god that is perfect
I like how watchmojo broke the 4th wall mentioning the comments section at the end.
ye that was really clever
Blazing Saddles was a good one as well. Hedley asks us why he's asking us a question. Actually, you could put a lot of Brooks' films on here where he does that.
Deadpool.. almost whole movie or Robin Men in Tight during the archary tournament they all pull out their scripts he gets another shot... yes he does.
Eddie Murphy looking into the camera in Trading Places deserves an honorable mention.
I know this is an animated film, but In the emperor's new groove when Kuzco keeps stopping to explain the film.
yeah that was funny.
This needs updating with Deadpool: "A 4th wall break inside a 4th wall break? That's like, 16 walls!" (amongst others)
George Lazenby as James Bond in the opening scene of "On Her Majesty's Secret Service."
This Xs a million. It has to count for so much more that it's the only time it's happened in the series. I expected it to be #1.
If TV: "House of Cards"
how is that five second clip from hot time machine not in here
lol...
yea both of them
It must be some kind of... Hot tub time machine.
Funny thing you mentioned that cause John Cusack was in one of the movies in this list. lol
Lady "#1, Ferris Bueller's Day Off"
Me: CALLED IT
Hope & Crosby did it all the time. " You mean they missed my song?" Zero Mostel in The Producers: "They all come here. How do they find me?"
I love movies where they break the fourth wall. This might not be actually doing it, but I like the part in Spaceballs where they capture the characters' stunt doubles.
MichaelBrookham
That scene does break with forth wall. They do not interact directly with the audience however they do show awareness that they are in a work of fiction. Thus they break down the wall between character and audience.
MichaelBrookham That was a great scene.
or like the scene in men in tights where one of the characters stabs one of the film crew.
let's face it, mel brooks loves his 4th wall breaking
Actually in Spaceballs, there was a part in the "Schwartz" duel between Dark Helmut and Lonestar where one of them hit the cameraman taping the movie.
MichaelBrookham oh yeah i remember that scene now to. like i said, he loves his fourth wall breaking.
Last Action Hero was the ultimate 4th wall break in. The film was ABOUT the 4th wall break in, where the Hero actually (Schwarzenegger) breaks through to the real world, even though it's the movie world. It even goes from the characters in the film going into the action film, the kid is watching and back out to the real world, to the kid from the real world, talking to the actor from the film about a film the actor was also in, that the character he was talking to, didn't know about.
The kid in the film, says to the character John Practice, played by F Murray Abraham, "you killed Mozart" and he says something like "I killed a lot of guys". This is a reference to F Murray Abraham also starring in the film Amadeus as Salieri.
So there's a 4th wall, within a 4th wall, within a 4th wall there. If this doesn't even warrant a mention, the 4th wall video is shit!
+Antony Booth Yeah, good point. However this list seems more to do with people talking directly to the audience. I remember no one in this movie doing that
+Antony Booth Well Deadpool the Movie is now out and in this Movie !! I mean it's Deadpool he talks so often to the audience it is just amazing even in the Scene after the Credits xD
+You Too I just went to that and watched it. He does not talk to the camera.
My head hurts from that
+1000 Internet Points for this, how the heck are u and me the only people who thought about Last Action Hero?! how does it not even get a mention
there's a moment in the movie "into the wild" when he eats an apple and talk to it and than looks straight to the camera.
it's very subtle and in a way not entirely a fourth wall break, but i think that what makes it so great.
a beautiful moment.
Fight Club was just pure genius
Robinhood: Men in Tights had a funny one, if this one counts. Basically, Robinhood missed his shot during the shooting contest. Lamenting about how "it's not supposed to be like this!", the characters decide to check the movie script, and discover that Robin is allowed to take another shot.
I don't think that counts as "breaking the 4th wall"
Enrico Alessio
In that scene, the characters acknowledge the fact that the events are part of a movie and that they're supposed to follow a movie script. That might be technically wrong, but I'd say that counts.
The 4th Wall in that movie is when his merry men are practice jousting and miss the dummies. Acho says, "Hey Robin, maybe we should take the dummies into battle." Robin's reacts by looking at the camera and shrugging. :)
TheAmazingBBP No, I've taken Film Media Studies college, and you are not wrong at all. Anytime the actors of a production acknowledge that they are in fact part of a production is also included in breaking the 4th wall. Just as when they directly address the audience. You were correct.
Well my favorite 4th Wall joke from that movie was when Robin says "Unlike other Robin Hoods, I actually have an English accent".
I love that Monty Python movie because of it's fourth wall breaks, and it's a hilarious movie
Which Monty Python movie are you referencing? All of their movies broke the 4th wall, just like all of Mel Brook's movies and Leslie Nielson's.
maybe the one invthe video
That would either be Meaning of Life or Holy Grail.
Gogeta thesayin rip in peace terry gil
*NEH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!* ;)
In Fresh Prince when they literally (as well as metaphorically) broke the 4th wall
"I've gotta protect my rep!"
"You're only 16, you don't have a 'rep' yet!"
"Man, parents just don't understand." *looks at the camera*
What about when Will asks "we so rich why we can't accord no ceiling?"
Spaceballs. #1.
That's all, folks.
its a good scene ill put it atleast 7th place as its small
I've always interpreted "breaking the 4th wall" not so much as simply talking to the audience (that would usually be categorized as either a monologue or aside) but more in terms of character self-awareness. It's usually when a character or event does something or happens to point out its own fictional nature, like an actor pointing out the boundaries of a set or a character referencing something about either themselves as an actor or another real life part or member of the production. Only about 2 or 3 of the ones that made it onto the actual list were what could be accurately called "breaking the 4th wall". In fact, most of the in-betweens and honorable mentions were more 4th wall breaking than anything on the list itself.
In short, this is a list of top 10 asides, not top 10 4th wall breaks.
Amazing to go to the trouble of doing this list without getting the premise! As for the real thing, I am not sure anyone can claim to play the 4th wall like Mel Brooks. Those dissenters who feel Spaceballs should be first have a good case. Still, Bueller deserves credit for actually breaking the 4th wall in the last scene, despite engaging the audience directly throughout.
Despite your "interpretation" breaking the 4th wall is by definition acknowledging the audience. What you describe as character self-awareness does not absolutely define the actor being self-aware. An aside is merely meant to be heard by the audience (not other characters) but is not an actor actually engaging in conversation with the viewer. The term you are looking for is "breaking character". Actors can break the 4th wall without breaking character. Yes, its more subtle but that doesn't change its very definition for your convenience. By giving attention to the audience they are indirectly displaying their own sense of self awareness as a character.
All of these movies broke the 4th wall.
John Bender
Spot on and well said.
I agree. An example of a frequent fourth wall breaker, though not a movie character, would be Deadpool. In the comic books he makes several references to being a comic book character as well as talking to the audience, and in the majority of games he features in he is aware of the fact that he is a game character. I don't remember the name of the game but one of his finishing moves in a fighting game is to grab his health bar and beat the opponent to death with it...
John Bender
The problem is that in most of these movies the fourth wall never existed in the first place. When you engage the audience in conversation from start to finish, it's not breaking the fourth wall, it's making the audience a permanent additional character.
May now have to add Deadpool (2016) to the 4th Wall Breaks in Film!! Think about it... it's a 4th Wall break inside a 4th Wall break... that's like 16 4th Wall breaks!
I get it.
+Amanda Kimberly No, that's like 16 walls.
My personal favorite was when Colossus said "we're taking you to the professor" and Deadpool was like "which one? McAvoy or Stewart? These timelines confuse me."
I'm going to wait out here ok? It's a big house, funny that I only ever see two of you...
It's almost like the studio couldn't afford another X-Men!
+Amanda Kimberly i liked the one in the beginning were he on the high way abd the whole scnen
Blazing Saddle is awesome with breaking wall
Headley office
I just watched that movie for the first time an hour ago lol
one of my favorite was from blazing saddles with heddy lamar (its hedley!) anyways the part where he is trying to figure out what to do and he looks at the camera and says, why am I asking you? thats funny
As soon as a proper Deadpool movie releases, I do expect this video to be immediately ammended.
I love how she breaks the 4th wall in this by mentioning youtube comments. =) Clever girl.
***** Okay then, clever writers of narration, whoever they are. However, that sort of ruins my Jurassic Park quote.
***** Did I say that mattered to me?
***** I mean, do I have to only say "You shall not pass!" to a balrog? Because then I can't say it anymore...
Adam Floro
You cannot break the forth wall in a piece where the intention or purpose of which is to address an audience and by convention which is not a work of fiction. Otherwise silly scenarios arise like news readers breaking the 4th wall, narrators in documentaries, people giving public speeches and so forth.
So no, she did not break the forth wall because this is not a work of fiction and the purpose of the clip is to address an audience.
Mr Prototype Not all narrators address the audience. Most narrators address the subject. For example, Ferris Bueller vs A Clockwork Orange, or various moments in The Lord of the Rings vs Lemony Snicket. The fact that she dildn't just talk about the movies, and started talking about the viewers is, actually, breaking the fourth wall.
The entirety of fight club felt like a fourth wall break
Yes, at the same time, no
The spaceballs one was my first 4th wall break^^ I remember that it confused the blazes outta me when I was a kid. Nowadays I just find it hilarious!
"But when will it be then?" "Soooooon"
Love that Deadpool parodied the Ferris Bueller after-credits ending with their after-credits ending. Perfect.
That passive-aggressive hot tub time machine line was delightful!
“Oh look, there’s the old man from scene 24”
What about "Top Secret": "It's like some bad movie."
I love the 4th wall break in Harold and Maude when Harold looks at the camera and gives the audience an evil smirk, just a slight smile and a devilish glint in the eyes.
Called it, was there actually any doubt Ferris Bueller was #1?
+Wizborg yes. thought funny game was gonna be number 1
+Ramhams1337 I was going to suggest this too. It's also a part of the plot because it tries to get the audience to either get a view of the two men or get the audience to indulge their inner killer instinct. From what I've seen, this channel favors a bit more mainstream movies.
Nathan Widmyer haven't seen much from this channel. but i thought funny game was alright. i liked the fact that they didn't go like most movies do and made an unrealistic happy ending
no doubt I was just waiting for the #1 to prove myself right
+Wizborg I think Deadpool has now kicked him from #1.
I would’ve mentioned that one iconic scene in The Simpsons Movie: “Everyone in this theatre is a giant sucker, especially *you!”*
Richard Dreyfus in Let it Ride, “Am I having a good day or what?”
this whole list could be Spaceballs
I checked out Fight Club because of this list, absolutely amazing film
If you hadnt seen fight club... you probably havent seen:
Layer Cake
Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels
Snatch
I dont know why only british movies came to mind but they are clever, witty and edgy in the same sense that Fight Club was. If you havent seen them and watch them, let me know what you think.
Full-Metal_Jacob You're right, I haven't! I'm British but never owned these films growing up
don't talk about it.
Full-Metal_Jacob All fantastic films.
fight club is one of those films you learn or notice something new everytime you watch it
I like the list but as I am a little old school... I think Bing Crosby and Bob Hope had some of the best fourth wall breaks in their Road movies.
I seem to recall one clip in this countdown (or was it some other?) in which the Watch Mojo narrator is (the current narrator) is snuck up by the camera crew while narrating the event as it unfolds and on realising whats happening, asks "where is this going?"
I should watch SpaceBalls
Brad Bailey I agree with that. I think I watched it when I was really young, but I don't remember any of it. I should watch it again.
Brad Bailey OH MY GOD YES YOU SHOULD
Brad Bailey Easily one of the best comedies ever made.
Brad Bailey If you haven't seen SpaceBalls then you are doing yourself a great disservice
+Brad Bailey It's on netflix. GO MAN. GO!
What's really funny is, when I was a kid, I went to see "Gremlins 2" in theaters and before it really got started the film broke and we all had to go home and come back the next night. Low and behold we get to the part of the movie where the film breaks in movie and everyone moaned thinking it was real. :)
My favourite fourth wall is when Burt Reynolds in Smokey and the Bandit. No words, just a cheeky smile to the camera.
I love the recent Captain Underpants movie, uses this technique to great effect, from the comment about the montage of pranks, the introduction of Krup, and of course 'Fliporama'!!!! Brilliant!!!!
This is basically shitting on the fact that there is no deadpool movie. Isn't it?
Afraid so
:
I would have rather omitted movies where the main character narrates to the audience, and instead focused on actual 4th wall breaks in movies that have established a 4th wall.
does the Robin Hood Men In Tights count when they mixed the sword fighting finale with the camera crew filming?
It's iconic when Superman flies into space and turn to the screen smile at the end of Superman The Movie.
That's one of my favorites.
I break the fourth wall in life all the time.
All the time, 'ey?
Let's see you beat any Ninja Gaiden game on Hard Mode.
THEN talk to me about breaking the fourth wall.
me too, ....I think its why I have no friends
How is that 5 second clip from Hot tub time machine not on this list?
The scene from Austin Powers: Goldmember, when Austin made that pun about Dr. Evil's nuts, and then looks at the camera made me laugh the most
"I thank you."
He didn't say a word, but Eddie Murphy's look into the camera in "Trading Places" is probably my favorite.
Mine too! Glad someone else mentioned it.
I can't complain about the top slot. Save Ferris. But Fight Club didn't make the list? Cannot compute.
Deadpool would fill this whole video and more. Especially the fourth wall break INSIDE of the fourth wall break
that's like, 16 walls 😏
agreed
that's like 16 walls
can goats
Sha'nyah Wilson yeah
I certainly agree with your choice for number 1. didn't even know about most of the stuff on the list.
The "checking the script" scene in "Robin Hood: Men in Tights."
Breaking the 4th wall can not be complete without mentioning the original funny games...
How could they possibly just forget it?
AND DEADPOOL
Deadpool isn't a film dipshit.
Luke Turley-West he was talking about that breaking the 4th wall couldnt be compllete without videogames and deadpool has a game
MrToquis007 I know Deadpool is a video game character. THIS IS A FILM LIST.
There's also that scene in Spaceballs where a cameraman gets killed during the "lightsaber" fight.
O completely agree with your top pick for this countdown. The fact that it was replicated at the end of the Deadpool movie shows how impactful it was. 👍
Ferris Bueller definitely deserved the #1 spot; its a classic on so many levels.
How is that five second clip from Hot Tub Time Machine not on this list?
Robin Hood: Men in Tights- When they checked the script to see if Robin really is supposed to loose or if he gets another shot.
Or when they take a shot at Kevin Costner for not being able to speak with an english accent
I liked the one in Kung Pow, when they said their was a snack break.
0:09 that's how i learned to see people
*breaking 4th WALL*
