Portugal
I love to see old people still riding bicycles:)
Yes! Italians in their 70s, lost in the countryside without knowing English or Portuguese, what an adventure!
Italians an Portuguese can understand each other very good, even if they don’t speak the same language (especially the spoken language), because their character is similar and they both use same or similar body language and gestures. I like Portuguese
I know two guys one early 90 and the older is 96. There is no limit what you can do with your life.
you say we might find this video boring but this is actually one of my favourites from you!
Oh, I´m glad Patrick :)
I am 68 and a cyclist. WILL BE 69 IN October.
ahaahahah keep cycling man!
Nice
Yes, I too remember the world before the virus...😷😖
PS: complimenti per l'ottimo italiano!👍
Let's hope we still can travel by bike after this virus XD
Grazie!
Love this style of video! Simple. On Point. and not BOOM BOOM MUSIC! 🤓👍
Hope you are you doing well Kia! :)
@@onecyclistinlisbon You too man! Stay safe dude 😷
With these style videos, I think my 'simplicity' is starting to rub off on you 😂🤣
They're GREAT!
Seeing your friend ride shirtless in February made me jealous. I live in Syracuse NY US where it typically doesn't go above 0 (Celsius) during the month of February. Even now very few days are above 10. We were scheduled to travel to Portugal to ride the Algarve starting the 21st of this month but of course it was canceled due to the virus. At least I got to "ride" along with you for this short trip. Thank you for sharing.
We have a warm country and he did it during a climb eheh, that helps
I hope you guys can do it soon and thank you, stay safe!
Loved the video. I love Portugal. I was there last summer. Traveled across the country by "comboio", from Porto to Aveiro, Lisboa, Cascais and Sintra and then to Albufeira. Lovely country.
:D
Portugal is so beautiful especially in spring. Also the Algarve west coast and the Alentego coast are a bit underappreciated in my opinion. We planned to visit our family living close to Bensafrim this eastern but weren't able to because of Corona.
Let's hope you can soon :)
Great company during lockdown.. Such beautiful places. Gives us hope for the next trips. Cheers!
Yes, let's hope this ends in Summer so we can enjoy. Cheers Jordan!
Espectacular saludos desde México 👋
Many beautiful scenes in your trip, Miguel! Looks like you had a wonderful time together. Thank you for taking us along.
Thank you Miguel. I used google maps to follow along from Australia.
Wow, great video of a wonderful ride in your beautiful country. I'd love to ride there again. Thanks
How do you go to long distance by your bike or with other means of transportation / because that is a long way *Wow*
I always enjoy watching your videos
MouseDelay agree
Thank you, it's a pleasure!
Thank you so much for sharing this!!! It relaxed me a lot ♥
Thank you. It's great to see some places in your beautiful country. Very interesting. I knew about Vasco Da Gama. But I didn't know where exactly he was born. I hope to visit these places someday. Thanks again. Take care
Thank you, you too man!|
I was taking a trip from Lisbon to Sagres the last autumn and I must say, I was fascinated and thrilled by the beauty of the south Portugal. I can't wait until I am coming back and explore even more beautiful places in Portugal. Thank you for the video.
I'm glad Anna, thank you!
Just awesome Miguel. 5 years ago I did Tróia-Lagos on bike too. Great video, great memories. Keep up the good work. Cheers mate👍👍
Yes, you too have also great memories of this little marvelous corner of Europe :)
I like this video and it gives me (further) suggestion on how to shot my new ones, when I will have a go pro: no music, just words and sounds of nature and surroundings; keep the camera on the chest while riding. - Than I am Italian and I was from Lisbon to Sagres to Faro two years ago in summer by car and liked it. I hope next year to do this tour by bike, let’s see, I will than ask you some suggestions.
I'm glad Stelio!
Thank you and fell welcome to ask me
A really good video! Thank you, Miguel, for unexpectedly dropping by and inviting us to leave our year 2020 anti-virus lockdown prisons and ride along with you in the sun, on good roads, surrounded by beautiful landscapes and towns, and happy people enjoying freedoms and life. Such a pleasant surprise. Cycle-touring is the best!
It is for sure my favorite way to travel.
Thank you and stay safe Harold!
Muito bom, grande viagem! O nosso Portugal é fantástico! :D
Sem dúvida!
Miguel, at time 13:20 we visit the cows, which are wearing bells. Do you know why cows have bells? Because their horns do not work.
Baduuuuum :P
Belíssimo país.
I love your videos. I can watch them for hours without getting bored. Thank you for uploading :)
Thank you Dry Fruit :)
Your videos are so cool and chilling to watch, keep it up ! :)
Thank you :D Have a good time!
Beautiful! 6:35 sometimes we have the same conversations on the road)
Wonderful, did lisbon to lagos by car in march :) beautiful to see it by bycycle :)
Abraços do Brasil!😊
Obrigado e boa sorte!
This looks so fun wish I could do it and nice job sir keep it up😀 hope to have a lot of subs like you one day keep it up man
Thank you
Do it because you like it, not because of numbers ;)
Beautiful!
Agora so falta de bike
Ah então tu sabes o que é bom XD
Brutal!!!
he deserve more subs
Dude I thought you were riding to Lagos in Africa. That'd be an incredible trip, but also quite dangerous given the political climate in Western Africa.
I wouldn't survive ahah get stolen or kidnapped for sure :P
I spent three months in Lagos last year, and having just found you're channel I was quite surprised to see this! Fantastic though, looks like a great ride.
It is!
Thank you!
Which country you guys come from?
🇳🇱
This is Portugal my friend
Very relaxing video! And I also found my next bike trip, thanks!
ahahaha :D
Yet another great video thanks for the uploads Miguel
No wonder you do this trip early spring. If you can ride shirtless in february, the heat must be ubearable unless you have AC.
Looks like you had an awesome trip - thanks for sharing!
And I hope the lost italians made it home.
ahaha it was not hot but that climb made him sweat more ahah I wear shirts all the time
They did and are safe during this covid as well.
Thank you Michael! Hope everything is also good in Denmark!
I love your videos! I think you are the best cylist!
Vídeo espetacular! Que câmara utilizas para filmar? Obrigado :)
Thanks for sharing. I always wanted to know how you go from Lisbon (margem norte) to the desert (margem sul)
Fantastic video of a fantastic road trip Miguel. As an arachnophobe I was a little freaked out at 5:20 but it was worth the wait to see some street art at 15:47, I just knew it would arrive eventually! Thank you, and stay safe in these strange times.
Ahahahah that was a very small one :P
Thank you and you too man!
Call me to the next one!
nao foram até á ilha do pessegueiro. Grande falha
Amazing trip. Old school MTB with cantilever rim brakes against roadbike? 😂 The poor guy need estimate 40 watts more than you! Keep on riding.
ahaha he did well :)
Stay safe man
that spider tho
I love to see you
I see you have found some tinder dates 13:18
Hehe
ahahahaha
A beber Sagres !!!! wtf -> mau gosto :( kkkkk
E super bock! Bebi de tudo nessa viagem!
Beer on the bike? Excellent choise. Without alcohol it would be ideal isotonic drink :-) A lot of vitamines.
Beautiful! But you're in Portugal and you're not drinking vinho tinto?!?
ahaha not on this trip :P
every Italian is laughing at 1:09... and every Italian knows where the guys on the boat thought they were going...
Peter van Hofwegen hahaha, yeah, going to “troia”... ps: do you speak Italian?
@@StelioRossi still learning, which is very much needed since I live in Italy 😉
Excellent as always! Thank you for another enjoyable video. Stay safe and healthy.
Thank you Papa, you too!
Bela viagem! Visitei Lisboa ano passado e me apaixonei pela cidade.
Where do you have your camera attached, please? On your head? You can show also side views, and the stability is still excellent.
On my chest!
1:12 - As a Brazilian, "Rola do Mar" made me laught a bit.
Nice to see lot of places 👌👌😊 how's about corona in their 😊
:) thanks! Things are improving
@@onecyclistinlisbon that's fine 😊❤️
Awesome bro!!!
Nice trip 👌🏻
Great trip and nice video
Thank you!
ahahaha
Samba brasileiro em Sines!
Thanks for sharing some of your journey. It looked awesome.
Your welcome, thank you Ian
February? Winter in Portugal looks like Summer, sometimes... just with shorter days 😉
@@onecyclistinlisbon Estou a pegar nesse material agora.
@@gonperes Estou a gostar bastante. Vai já para a minha lista.
Panniers are great! Make your bike work, not you...;-)
I have to find one for my road bike, I didn't have time to prepare for this ride :P I have for my hybrid bike though
wow good luck.
um beijo do brasil hahaha
I'm not sure if I'm blind, but what was the difference in being exposed to the sun?
Also, I don't know why, but I first assumed that you actually took your bike all the way to the Lagos in Nigeria :D
Just how bright it is. Fun fact, the Portuguese named both (and more) Lagos cities.
That comment was about the "Stop" sign ahah one was white and the other untouched.
That would be an interesting trip... if I survived.
@@onecyclistinlisbon I didn't even notice the white stop sign until now, that's how white it was :D I was looking at it like "find the differences" pictures, thinking that maybe the paint on the houses was faded or something...
And yes, a trip to the other Lagos would have certainly been more... Shall we say exciting...
at this video , do you have gopro chest mount or head band mount
Chest but sometimes I used it on my hand.
Great beer to kilometer ratio!!!
ahahaha it should have been higher
Ahh a bela Sines!
Muito romanticos! Valeu.
hahahahaha
What strength sun protection lotion you use?
Around 30 is enough for me
02:27 te pegamos, miguel
LOL
porque que falas ingles podes falar portugues
No!
👁️Now know WHAT Miguel looks like Caz i am his new naybor ( oh do tell) Nooooo. 👁️ Can't do what U Ask of me why 👁️👁️👁️👁️ Caz 👁️ A big fibber 😂😂😂😂😨😱😀.
Hmm how intriguing...I have so many questions now Murtle
Aha!! (👁️👃👁️) YEAH👍👣.
Do you have a Strava profile? I'd love to be able to see your ride stats as well as these wonderful videos if you're comfortable sharing
I had last year but I've deleted since I don't use it anymore :P
@@onecyclistinlisbon ah, oh well.
Have you a New bike?
No, I have that road bike for over a year now.
I thought you went to Nigeria. O_O
That would be a heck of a ride ahah
5:20 NOPE
Do you have the GPX files?
No I do not but you can check the route on this video : ua-cam.com/video/WznIYnRmLX0/v-deo.html
AAAAaah! You were so close to Barão de São Miguel!
ahahah yes, what about it?
@@onecyclistinlisbon Your patron saint. You are called Miguel, si? This town is the Barão de São Miguel. You are famous to name a town after you.
@@onecyclistinlisbon . . . and we hope you are healthy, physically and mentally, and emotionally and ecumenically, too, I suppose.
@@tmurphydot5 AHahah super famous.
I'm very good, can't complain thank you. Hope you are as well! Better times will come :)
