- After watching this tutorial you will be able to solve the Kilominx! I cover all layers and algorithms and make sure to clearly show each move along with it's corresponding algorithm.

Cube Solve Hero is your page for Unboxings, Tutorials, Reviews, and Cube Comedy! My cube journey has gone one for a while now and though I love solving lots of puzzles, I’m working on my speed. What you’ll see in this channel is lots of different cubes as well as insights into my journey as I become a sub 10 speedcuber. Hopefully you’ll enjoy this video and will watch some more great videos of mine.

Steps and Algorithms::::
Step 1: Start with building the “white Layer”
This step is going to be intuitive
Step 2: Find the second layer edge piece that matches the corner.
This step is kinda intuitive
Step 3: Place the corner piece between the second layer edges
Algorithm: R, U, R’, U’ until it’s done
Step 4: Last Layer Orientation
Algorithm: R’ , D’ , R , D Until the last layer piece is facing up. The do a U’ to the next piece that isn’t facing up.
Do this all the way around till it’s all complete.
Step 5: Last Layer Permutation
Scenario 1: If none of the edges match, rotate till two are aligned.
Holding the two non-matching edges to the right, do this
Algorithm: R , U , R’ , U’ , R’ , F , R2 , U’ , R’ , U’ , R , U , R’ , F’
Scenario 2: If two of the edges match correctly, hold them at the bottom (one to the left and one to the right)
Algorithm: R , U , R’ , U’ , R’ , F , R2 , U’ , R’ , U’ , R , U , R’ , F’
This gets you to the first scenario. (((Perform Scenario 1)))

Thanks for helping me!! I had so much trouble with that last layer and had to watch like 10 different videos until this one got me. Once again, Tysm!!
It took me multiple tries to get the second last step done (where you get the greys to line up at the top) and I had to keep getting all the other layers done again but thankfully I had memorized that stage by that point. Once I'd finally understood the algorithm to align the grey pieces I found it easy to follow the last algorithm (I had to slow down the video so I could pause it). Thank you so so much, I'll probably still need to watch the video for the last algorithm for a while until I can memorise it but I can finally solve it. My kilominx was messed up when I bought it so I'm so happy to finally have it solved!
great video! it ended up scrambling my kilominx whenever all i had to do was solve the last layer. now i have to do it all over again :)
The algorithm at the end is a T-perm in case anyone wanted to know

When I solve the grey face sometimes it destroys the rest of the cube?
It will always cuz u need to do a proper algorithm to solve it
@@Olly_harris ONLY WHEN YOU DO NOT FOLLOW HIS DIRECTION AND DO THE CORRECT MOVES COMPLETELY - ESPECIALLY THE R'-D'-R'D - THAT LAST "D" MOVE IS THE ONE MOST FIRST TIME CUBER'S FORGET

This is basically the megamonx method without having to sole second layer because it doesn’t have middle pieces in between nice I can’t wait to get this because I love my megaminx
Thank you! Only using my 2x2 knowledge I managed to do everything except the last layer, I even managed to make the corners face the correct way, I just needed to solve the last layer, thanks for the help!

Finally some algorithms
Guys!! You can also do the easier algorithm for the last layer. It is exactly the algo to solve the last layer’s corners in the megaminx. It makes the cube way easier. I solved it without looking at any tutorials.

When i do R' D' R D for OLL in last layer it simply just does not work as when i get all the gray pieces on the top at least one of the white pieces are out of place. I have no idea how you did it in the video but it is not working for me. I also don't want to learn all 19 algorithms for last layer of kilominx so i don't know what to do.
Edit: I kind of solved the problem myself. If anyone else has this problem, pretend you have oriented the last layer and do the algorithms than you need to do to solve the cube. In the end, I corner twisted the remaining 3 pieces that I had (it was really hard, i didn't think i could corner twist it before), and my cube was solved. Then I scrambled the last layer again and this time R' D' R D worked for me.
in the last layer what happenss if the 2 corners that are solved are right next to eachother

Would I be able to use U R U2’ L’ U2 R’ U2’ L U to permute the last layer, and then orient it using R U R’ U’ when the puzzle is upside down?

When you started to do the last layer I had the same scramble then when I did the algorithm I had a different scramble what lol
i do the last layer like you said but it doesnt work i did the last layer twice like i but when i do that i get the same senario 2 case

TWICE STARTING AT 11:13 & 12:14 WHILE DOING THE R'-D'-R-D YOU SAY "R "FOR THE "R' "MOVE TO CONFUSE THE "NOVICE" CUBER - I KNOW IT'S BORING AND REPEATS ITSELF FOR YOU, BUT THE "NOVICE" IS WRITING DOWN THE ALGORITHM AND HEARING/WATCHING YOUR MOVE INTENTLY - YOU SHOULD MAKE A REVISION OR POST A RETRACTION STATING YOUR "MISTAKES" FOR THEM TO CORRECT THEIR "NOTES" -

There is a chance it was taken a part at some point.
oh. i thought it was a rare case so i just twisted the corner and just solved it like i never did anything. i guess that could be possible because the one i have can corner twist easily

For anybody who cares full KCLL is a thing it has just shy of 200 cases but if u are serious about kilo then maybe a good thing.
I don't know about others but I found this hard to follow along with the puzzle being so close to the camera

I had to redact my comment, because I thought you were referring to Sexy Move. As for this, I didn't think about the puzzle rotation... It essentially F', D', F, D. It is what it is, but this is also the beauty of video. Where I mess up, you can see a visual for easy reference.

I'm having the same problem. I literally followed the video move by move, but once i get to the last layer everything gets scrambled again. The colors dont orient themselves again once im done with getting all of the grey pieces on top. So now i just have a scrambled puzzle with a grey layer
