- These last shots on Encanto were a total team effort. We only had two weeks to animate them so we split the shots into three groups!
- Joseph Holmark: animated Abuela, Mirabel, Bruno, Antonio along with the jaguar and the rat. 🐀
- Isaak Fernandez: animated Luisa, Isabela, Julieta and Augustín.
- I got to animate Camilo, Pepa, Félix and Dolores!
As you can see, the original layout had the family take an actual "good" picture. It was later decided to have Casita squeeze them all together to make the photo a bit more spontaneous and fun!
I feel so lucky to have been able to help animate this moment! ❤️
And thank you so much Travis Stewart for all your help with shooting reference! I'm so sorry for making us bump into each other way too many times. 😂

I'm glad they removed the donkey from Luisa's pose in the final animation! Because if they were to go with that pose, Mirabel's whole talk about her carrying less would be for nothing 🤣🤣

I think they used the same model then just changed the colour of the dress later
