Sas 3 was a game I played when I was a legit child and I was so scared but so in love with it. Sorta sucks that I’m now just remembering this and what ninja kiwi gave us.
I played SAS 3 before it got super popular... don't know if it was beta or what, but I played the crap out of that game. I was pretty sad most people left it for SAS 4, which felt like a big grind fest in comparison (not that SAS 3 itself wasn't super grindy already)
Sad fact, the browser version of SAS 4 had way much more to offer than the current Steam version does. My hope is we still get to see this content being added to the Steam version at some point

I actually played SAS Zombie Assault 4 back when I was 7 I think. It was far before I ever played a Bloons game, and when I loaded up Bloons TD Battles for the first time, I recognized "Ninja Kiwi".
Im late by a year to comment this but im also the same. When i ask my best friend to play SAS 3 with me he is confused that its the same developer as Bloons TD, and i never played bloons TD either.
If we ever get sas5, it will be one of the biggest games Ninja kiwi has ever made, and would spend at least 4-5 years in production. With that being said, I would love to see it and can't wait to see what they will improve on. I would like for it to come out between btd6's final update and btd7 to see which UA-camrs are Ninja kiwi fans rather than Bloons fans lol. In fact, the Idea of sas5 gets me very HYPED UP!
SAS: 4 was an absolute banger in my youth. I was a Medic-class main back then, stuck around level 57 or so before I kind of moved on. Now, I have returned on the mobile version. While I rarely play it nowadays, I would come back to it once in a while. Still a Medic-class main, still supporting the bros out in the field through rapid tissue repair!
I understand that NinjaKiwi is focused on what generates them the most monetary gain, that being Bloons, but i dont think they entirely comprehend the revenue potential a well-made and monetized SAS 5 could bring. I cant help but feel that they are also underestimating the playerbase size, perhaps its due to them deriving thier estimated player count from current SAS 4 data, but the relatively low SAS 4 count is merely due to the fact that a vast majority of SAS fans are waiting on 5. There is an entire sea of fans sitting idly by waiting to be ressurected.
SAS4 still has potential but it needs more attention for it to get mote updates i think its an underrated game and it deserves more attention i remember when they did events where we had to get a specific amount of kills for us to get rewards globally in a short amount of time. SAS 4 still has the potential to be great, and i will continue to play it

SAS 4 needs to add chat settings allowing the player to have a preformated and fully unlocked typeable chat mode. We also need everything available in the previous SAS games also available to be played and the features enabled.

I started replaying this game after along when i am bored and nothing to do i turn this game on my mobile and it's really fun I am very excited for sas 5 i hope they add an bigger and better story and map
this series has true potential if NK decides to invest on it, but as they said at that moment, they needed a team for it and that they were working that kind of stuff. I just retook this game after years ago when I was a kid got inmediately invested into the lore if they plan to expand on it
I know this series from SAS 3, and currently playing SAS4, in my opinion, SAS 4 is already a top notch, it has many references from Dead Space and maybe Callisto Protocol. Maybe instead of creating SAS 5 they can build a whole new series that are more serious in storyline, they got the potential.
I don't know how I found the browser game SAS zombie assault 3, maybe it was one of those browser games websites, but MAN I was hooked, though I couldn't pay the premium progress I was grinding hard for my progress and enjoying myself the whole way through, I remember when I managed to buy my first premium gun through the free track, it was an awesome feeling.
SAS3 was so cool back in the past. Specially multiplayer was fun to play. But the net engine was very laggy (same as for bloons td6 right now). I'm planning to create a similar zombie game based on SAS3 in the future with the LOVE engine. Currently learning the basic features. :D
SAS4 is good enough. If they release SAS5, SAS4 may be discontinued, similar to what happened with SAS3. After SAS5 5 release another players ask about new SAS6.
I honestly think instead of SAS 5 theres still so much content to be added to SAS 4. Alloys, additional skill points, maps, gear (looking at you, RIA Trident and HIKS M-1000), as well as events. The game is already GREATLY designed and by that i mean the potential. If I had money, I would buy ninja kiwi(because I see that they don't give attention to the other sas games), I would make a good lore for sas 1 and 2, along with the original story of sas 3 and sas 4, it would be amazing, but unfortunately I don't have the budget, or buy the copyrights to the games.
