We Are a Branch of the largest fight organization in the country, STREETBEEFS. The Scrapyard was created in 2020 by "Firechicken", a former Amateur MMA fighter, Wrestling coach, and Boxer. The main branch of STREETBEEFS was created in 2008 by Chris Wilmore aka Scarface. Streetbeefs as a concept was created in order to stop street violence with it's "Guns down, Gloves up" movement. The Scrapyard holds monthly fights in our Pacific northwest location. No money is involved in any way, we do not pay fighters or charge any sort of admission to our events. We aim to give people a place to start their combat sports journey, meet people, solve beefs, or just test out their abilities.

That was a mistake, older people dont heal very well. Bad or broken hips lead to pneumonia because their lungs are too weak from not moving, then they cant get that fluid up and they pass away.

@@JuanWick69595 as a nurse I do agree the stakes are higher for the older women especially as an unconditioned/ untrained fighter who's out of shape with all due respect. A hip injury can be life threatening, or cause a major decline in quality of life. blood clots , and infection are great examples so hold fast bear isn't wrong. people under estimate simple falls, but they're nothing to play with.

I can't knock it in principal, but I really wish you had some headgear for fights like this, not just for the punches but in case they hit their heads on the boards or ground, doesn't take much to kill someone from a fall as they get older, despite what the card says. she looks a lot older to me, closer to 70.

The red-headed gal looked to be about 1/2 mama pappas's age, weighed 50lbs more. This should have been literally a 10 second fight😮. I'd be tucking my tail in shame and not quit my day job if I was the younger gal.
This was elder sbuse. They didn't have beef, her social security check must have been stolen, and she needed money to get by. I don't see anything except desperation pushing a grandma to fight in a match who probably never thrown a punch in her life.

All due respect, there HAS to be an age limit on bouts. This felt like watching Bum Fights and it's not entertaining.
She may have lacked experience, but she had an abundance of courage and determination. Maybe a bit more training for ger if she wants to fight again, but man, with some skills to back up all that heart she could be dangerous

Well I guess that just goes to show that it's a tough game. Kudos to Hit for getting in and trying, she went to the body and the head and that all deserves respect. She even had Freya thinking about her life against the wall for a second. But if she comes back, she's gonna need to keep those hands up and stop half-heartedly marching into shots.
