@@rodtack8420 the thing about Pappas if you seen the fight where he is quoting sun tzu mid fight while toying with his opponent is that he might not be a trained fighter but his mind is strong 💪 dude is a tactician with no training or skill if he actually worked on his technique I think he could be a monster.
I think they should just glue Pappas mouth guard to his teeth, he drops his mouth guard more than his hands.
The mouthpiece situation is really annoying with Pappas. I think he just spits out the mouthguard whenever he gets into a bad situation. This gives him time to recover. It's a bull$hit move.

It's clearly an accident. Why would he spit it out for an extra 2 seconds of rest? It falls out usually right after he talks. Also, why is it that in some of his other fights, it comes out right at the start of the round? He wants an extra 2 seconds of rest after resting for 2 minutes? I've seen some stupid theories in my time but this one takes the cake.

@@caleblee6734 Go through all of his fights, and count the number of times it falls out when he's stuck, and then count the number of times it falls out when he's either dominating or not even near his opponent, and you'll find that it almost always falls out at the latter.

My thought exactly. I have only seen him designated as the winner in a grappling match and it was only because they set a rule that if there was no submission, he wins. Should have been a draw at best, but the other guy in that one had Pappas on defense the entire time.

@@codycox2685 These guys are amateurs if you didn't figured it out by now. You cannot expect much technique from them but a good fighting spirit.
I just think he's all heart and no brain. He seems to be there in character rather than in person, looking to connect with other loonies like Solo and Fitness etc. What's not to like.

He needs to work on his boxing a little
One thing i have learned from watching Pappas fight is that he always wants to put on a show when he fights, he plays around (sizing up opponent?) and make it last and then leave it all in the 3rd round win or lose. however i feel that because of this he tends to want to be verbal and talk a lot in the ring and of course then fumbles out his mouth guard constantly because of it as well as not giving 100% when he fights most of the time. Bad Pappas, stop that!

I'm confused as to what Papas is doing half the time, he just charges at the dude with his gloves out.. Is that even allowed in boxing :P It's not even a thrown punch... It's basically a tackle

that had to be very tough to ref. I know it must hurt to know a fighter, and maybe be friends, but finally taking the point for repeated mouth guard violations was warranted. Pappas' 'bullrush' strategy is an odd area too, hopefully he continues to work this out of his fights. Great job Anomaly... thanks to SB, and the fighters as always... ~~Just me, RD

@@rdskew I'm friends with just about anyone that's there. But when I'm reffing, my main focus is on keeping everything safe and fair. I don't know all the people there as there are usually newcomers. But my role as a ref remains the same no matter who's in there.
The reff almost got punch . I am a reff for one of the top amateur leagues and working on going pro. I got punched last week fighter was ko and woke up fighting me . Luckily I have been training for years cause I knew what to do 😊

I'm enjoying these scraps more than the average UFC fight.. And I've been following MMA since its inception.
The funny thing is that even though some of these regulars we see on here look out of shape, They are actually in better Fighting condition than a lot of people. I'm not saying they are the cream of the crop but an average guy trying this would quickly realize Fighting is the most tiring thing ever, Especially when you get to that point where you are telling your body to move yet it just won't listen anymore yet they keep going.
Pappa is God-touched with a little bit of the 'tism and that's what makes him so endearing.

Either get Pappas a ball gag for a mouthpiece, or start making some rule changes. If any fighter loses their mouthpiece more than twice in a match, there should be some form of penalty. Why more than twice? Because once is an accident, twice is a coincidence, and three times is a pattern. Some penalties could include an automatic TKO. Protecting yourself at all times is a basic rule, and repeatedly losing your protective equipment could be considered an inability to protect himself at all times. Alternate penalties could be a point reduction, a period of suspension, or a monetary fine. Mix and match these however you see fit.
