Just got the Stomp XL and this is, by far, the best, simplest to follow instructions for me to get the sounds I want and also to operate it efficiently.

My sincere thanks for this video, I just got one of these for my first delve into modern modelling and I was feeling slightly overwhelmed due to coming from more traditional amps and pedals. This was easy to understand and I will now feel more confident about creating my own presets!

Hi Andy, what model Stratocaster is that you are using, An American Strat, or a Custom Shop? Thank you for posting this. This is great...
this seems so much more difficult on the HX Stomp XL. do you have one of those? would love to see it done with the block bypasses and the levels. the only way I can get it to save snapshots is to push and turn the knob with the setting until the text turns white. if I don't do that the setting is saved across all snapshots. wait... am I not supposed to hit save when creating snapshots? is that what I'm doing wrong?

Hi Andy I just looked at your Hendrix stomp preset. You have explained the best so far thank you so much ! I’m interested in setting mine up to sound like Robbin Ford on his Yellowjacket album it’s on u tube . I’m a novice on this unit. Can you please do another preset that would duplicate Robben Ford Guitar lead sound

Cool demo to show how simple it is. Bit man, those snapshots sound like absolute SHIT.
To anyone who's interested in the HX Stomp, this video doesn't show how bad ass the tones really can be. Sorry to the video maker but, this sounds pretty horrible.
Great video showing how to build patches but, that fuzz tone is horrid. Man, I wish guitar players would evolve away from fuzz.
You do realize he's creating a Hendrix tone, whose tone originated in the 60's...when fuzz tone was first created...right?? Tone (and fuzz) has evolved since then. This is a good 60's-era sound, if that's what you're going for. If not, maybe skip the fuzz.

No one should be trying to purposely get this tone. It's two thousand fucking twenty. If you're still trying to get Hendrix tones you should just move away from the guitar. Not to mention, this sounds absolutely NOTHING like Hendrix. Ppl need to let this whole Hendrix shit rest. He wasn't that good in the 1st place. Everyone just pretends he was because he died young. Some of his songs were good but he was no where near the player ppl make him out to be. And his tone sucked most of the time because he used way too many effects in stuff that didn't require so many. And fuzz is just overrated shit tone anyways. Why do ppl want to sound like they're playing through a blown, shitty speaker? It baffles me to no end. I'm 49 years old & still see 90% of players trying to emulate thus garbage. FFS, move on.
HX stomp Must not be selling well I’ve seen dozens of demos, they want you to pay $600 for something that is too complicated to use
So... How do you save patches? You made them and didn't show how to save them... Just moved on like you showed us without showing us....
