BEWARE OF THE JUMP SCARE AT 21:52!!! Format for this event: Driver 1 does an out lap. Then a confirmation lap. Then 5 sprint laps. Then an in lap. Driver 2 does the same laps. Confirmation lap needs to be as close as possible to the confirmation lap set by driver 1. Sprint laps need to be as fast as possible. In laps and out laps don’t matter, you can drive as slow as you like within reason. The slower the laps + the bigger the difference in confirmation laps, the higher your overall score. Lowest score wins. Hope this makes sense =)

Yeah those opening moments were quite nerve-racking. I had no idea if it was dry or wet or what to expect. Luckily enough it calmed down by the time I actually got onto the track.

Your brain intuitively understands this fact and it causes a weird disconnect when given both forward and backward perspectives at the same time. Our brains are only used to processing information from one direction at a time. I vote mirror the video

Becoming a professional racing driver does not work out for most people, but at least you can find a lifelong hobby and even get to race in real life - at your own expense. Just try to have fun, develop your craft as much as possible and see where it leads. Good luck.

Sim racing and racing in real life is completely different. You make it look so easy, so much skill. I got Gran Turismo last Christmas but i only played about a month or two. Came back 4 months later and im absolutely loving it because of your vids. I always analyse your driving to see what i can do better. I am very grateful of these vids mate. You just got a subscriber. Thats a cool track. I played one of the GT games way back 20 years ago and first time getting on that track without knowing anything about it or even hearing the name before, it stayed in my head ever after. Each GT game I went straight back to it.

it seems lowkey relaxed driving, however I'm guessing it was still kinda stressful in some corners that u also mentioned in the video with understeering but I hope you just had a great time. It's what the drivers say to each other as well at the start of the 24h of Le Mans, rooting for you to be sending it on Mulsanne within a couple of years mate!

I watched this trackside at hatzenbach. You guys looked fast. I timed you at 8 or 9 minutes towards the end. Fun fact: 6 hours before the race I did a VERY early morning lap on my bike 😂
So basically I was racing a guy who only a few days before we met at deep forest raceway was racing a dream and the dream of a lot of similar sim races such as myself at the Nurburgring. 😉 Nice one Steve GG 👏😉

Trust me, I tried mirroring but it just doesn't look right. I guess if you look backwards then things are just naturally the other way around.
