I never thought that I would be listening to Albert Ayler this morning as my background music. But it sure is hitting the spot. I never heard the album "Bells". I have seen it shown and I have seen it in some of the shops. But I never heard it and I am liking what I am hearing. The one after it NY Eye & Ear Control album took me a while to get into. After repeated listens of Cecil's "Unit Structures". I started to understand and enjoy free jazz more and more. If any. Do you have go-to free jazz album? Thank you Alex~ Rob/Boston
On the USS Midway there was a guy who would record your records to cassette. I'm sure he hoped to get rock and pop. I brought him Albert Ayler to tape for me!
@@diamond_marimba I had bought Japanese versions of the Maeght Foundation albums and had him do those. I also had him record Sun Ra, Pharoah and others.
