All very well executed. True, it's mostly autumn conditions, but nonetheless, one can just not do this any better. I am a little surprised that the pilot can afford to hold the uprights as low as this (1/4 of the upright) - and still never run out of flare !
Aeros Combat GT is interesting glider. I can also land nicely while I'm holding uprights very low. Actually I find flare window is quite large on that glider. Here is the video: ua-cam.com/video/PcHihPc4TVI/v-deo.html
Great examples ! Thanks for sharing. Been so long since I've had to do one. Most difficult was the first and getting used to pulling in speed to fly at the hill.
I agree with landing uphill eventually seeming easier because the flare and the gradient work to your advantage. Very nice video mate! We don't have such slopes here in Virginia US :)
Interesting issue, and well explained. There is one thing I am missing though,. It would be nice to have the landing scenes seen from the ground, from the side. The thing is that seen by a cámara attached to the keel, the up slope is not appreciated,. It actually looks like a normal flat ground landing.
Excuse me but the VG is at what position?is there any video from a second person and not in first person?so we can see better from another point of view
Had that happen to me on a snivelling small hill in England, took off in a sink cycle, as i approached the side of the hill to land up slope, as described brilliantly and executed above. The thermal lifted me up and forward, i merely turned away and 10 mins later was on my way to cloud base. If you have airspeed you can just turn out from the hill. Even with a thermal behind you would just loose momentum and run it off.
Eines der besten Videos, das jemals in der Szene bei UA-cam veröffentlicht wurde. Vielen Dank dafür!

Great tutorial! Thanks for sharing with us.
Very nice video and explanation! This really helps out with my progression 🙌😁 You have mastered the uphill landing 👌
Perfect. You are a true master of this!
You make it look soo easy :-) Great video.

At 2:26 you really dove down while holding the uprights! The tip about practicing with uprights in mid flight is brilliant!

Really nice tutorial. Today I ride a motorcycle named XR, but i have som XC experience in hang gliders in a previous life :-)
Really useful and reassuring. Thanks!
Very nice! I need to come visit and do this lots :)
excelent video! Thanks for making the effort
Awesome! Great landings, great tutorial. Thanks :)
Thank you Bänzli! Very useful video.
Thanks! That was very well explained and demonstrated.

Well done 😎

Belle démonstration ....
wow.. a lot of skill shown here
Looks easy with flat conditions. Try it in thermal conditions and you are starting to roll the dice
Here's one on a thermal day with a strong cross-slope wind.

Love the outro too!
fly safe every guys :)
Be nice to see this from a third person (on the ground) side view. Will have to search your videos for this
Great!
wow! super!
Good maneuver , not for beginners
WOW
WOW!
Could be useful to see from a spectator ground point of view. Anyway thank you
Ok, very nice.... Now, do the same with 25/30 kmh tailwind, that is more realistic situation then null wind ;)
Here's one on a thermal day with a strong (25 kph) cross-slope wind.
