Also check all lights, tire pressure, overall condition of trailer tires and tread depth. Check the trailer tire lug nuts too.

yes, you can buy a hitch , hitch ball and pins at the centers

Chain twisting bad. It reduces the tensile strength of the links. If trailer were to become uncoupled. Those links will bust. Twisting chains makes them 75% less strong.
