- A reckless driver in a Kia Sportage led Milwaukee Police on a high-speed chase on May 5, 2022. No one was injured. The pursuit traveled pass Fiserv Forum. For more videos and photos, visit / incidentresponse .

MPD is not allowed to use a PIT maneuver (unlike other surrounding departments) along with the fact the criminals know full well that all they have to do is drive just a little crazy and they'll terminate the chase.
Did I hear correct? When they confirm skin color of suspect they terminate the chase?

No they usually stop chasing if they drive to crazy like oncoming or opposite lane or if they know your a known or local dealer they well he got arrested 5 months after this video since MPD posts videos like 1-2 years old after everything is cleared

If y'all wondering what car the police uses to go on pursuits it the ford explorer 2021 with a 400 hp engine it goes 140mph yeah ik its slow especially for Milwaukee but whats the point of having a war bar in front of the vehicle if you cant pit maneuver.

This particular cruiser is a previous generation Explorer with the 3.7 L V6 and the 6-speed auto transmission. Approx. 305 hp. This is not the EcoBoost nor the current Generation.
Why pursue at all? The kid will be home that night for mommy to tuck him in.

Fatal car crashes on the News everyday whether it’s a chase or not. Our side streets are destroyed with potholes and many streets with homeowners slowly paying for speed humps before anything else. Bike lanes in some areas are separated from road and next to sidewalks. Nothing is going to slow down Milwaukee traffic.
