Love this. I've also enjoyed many videos of his two sons I've found on youtube. I wish there were more Yichuan instructors in America and especially, near me so I can have partners to practice with. The system is much more direct and clear than a lot of Tai Chi, Xing Yi and Ba Gua-- which is still often veiled behind opaque traditions and nuances of Chinese culture that don't translate easily for Westerners. The Yichuan of Wang Xiang Zhai is an elegant synthesis of traditional Chinese practice with "Western" science and methods-- and from my perspective is a natural fit for Americans- it just needs a wider audience in the USA. Thank you for spreading awareness and keeping it alive.
Hey my friend, you are welcome. Very nice comment, you are right that Yiquan is more direct and clear than other internal martial arts. Will keep work on it, to reveal and discover all internal martial arts 🤝😊
very helpful re-visiting this vid 3 months later after daily yi quan... I am much more able to interpret the subtle energies and movements especially of shili testing power ...thank you
what Westerners don't get is the yin-yang energy so that the left hand energy is to be visualized connecting to the right foot and the left foot to the right hand. So that way the upper and lower bodies are yin-yang as well as the right-left are yin-yang. So you visualize the energy flowing in the yin-yang directions like licking a 9-volt battery.

Hi. 👋 I don't know if this is because of the quality of the video, but it seems to me that he too, like Han Xingyuan in one of his videos, makes little movements in Zhanzhuang. But Master Yao's movements are very much smaller. They are that little that I'm not sure whether there is a movement at all or if it is the quality of the recording. But I think it's a movement .... What do you think?
where can I find more information on these small moves in stance training? I have just been taught how to do them, but did not find anything in my books so far so I am a bit confused, as I have been practicing mostly allowing the form to do its thing and relaxing the body, calming the mind. What I was taught: It is like the arms and legs expand with a ball inflating in between them, and then press the ball.
I feel very worried that taijiquan is copying this style cause it’s really similar and this style have attack move more than taiji Thank you so much for sharing

Yes, it is my friend, There is small moving in the Stance training, Master Yao’s Yiquan more neat, and subtler than Master Han.👍
@@authentickungfu7910 Did Master Wang Yufang also do it? I didn't see it of any of her videos (maybe I didn't watch carefully enough ...).
Yes, she mentioned in some videos. This method is just one of the aspects of Stance training, but it’s important.
