- Welcome aboard a special train for bob sledders, running during the winter between Preda and Bergün on the RhB network in the Swiss canton of Graubünden.
We start the trip in Samedan on a fine winter's morning. Check back in the coming weeks for another run from Bergün to Preda and back with more sunlight.

The Albula Tunnel, at over 5000 meters, it is very interesting. I wouldn’t mind riding through it, like the Vereina Tunnel. The scenery and tunnels are all very fascinating!👍🏻🌸🙂🙂🙂
Klasse, ich bin letztes Jahr mit einem Freund dort gewesen. Eine Woche lang mit der Rhätischen Bahn herumgefahren, einfach unbeschreiblich toll.
J'adore ces vidéos cabine, j'en rêve souvent d'en faire un sur un train Suisse et ses super panorama magnifique. J'ai fait un voyage en wagon panoramique le Glacier Express. Mais là c'était génial !

What are the structures to right of tracks in Spinas and larger structure in Preda? They look like some sort of elevated conveyor? They don't show on Google maps so must be recent.

Geht's anderen auch so? Bei Schmalspurbahnen erscheint mir die Geschwindigkeit immer größer als die wirkliche Geschwindigkeit. Also, wenn es im Video heißt, dass 80 km/h gefahren wird, erscheint es optisch wie fast 100 km/h. Vermutlich liegt es mit daran, dass bei Meterspur der Führerstand nicht so weit über den Schienen liegt wie bei Normalspur. Auch ist die Trassenbreite schmaler als bei Normalspur. Danke für das schöne und informative Video.
Es könnte daran liegen dass der Kamera ein breitere Winkel hat.

This is a snow castle. It has been built for the first time. People who does run sledges can stop there and eat fondue and drink some wine etc....

Imagine carving a nearly 6 km long tunnel out of solid rock with the equipment available in 1903. They've got it easy these days with these tunneling machines and concrete and stuff. I presume that machinery at the stations at either end are to do with the new tunnel?

Yes they are preparing the interior constructions. Yes it goes every day from Samedan to Bergün and returns in the evening. As far as i know the ISO container are running since 1999.
