As an outsider, I'm just wondering why Israelis thinks that the life they are living right now is what life is like in a war. If they were in a real war bombs would be dropping in Tel Aviv. Not, like Hamas rockets. I'm talking about real bombs like what Hezbollah and Iran has.
The North of Israel has been evacuated and it not livable, barley. This is without being in an all out war. If war really happens like in Ukraine and other war torn countries, I dont see how Israel survives, economically and population amount.
For example, since the war in Ukraine, 14 million people left the country as refugees. What happen if millions of Israeli jews leave the country in an all out war scenario. There is only 7.2 million jews living in Israel and many are duel citizens or have some connections outside the country. Also, I don't think Israelis have the stomach to live in a war torn country.
Like do we really think Iran is gonna look like Gaza and Israel is just gonna look pretty. All they have to do is bomb the power plant and the Israelis will freak out. Israelis from the North are already complaining that they have to live in Hotels. Living in a hotel is luxury in a real war scenario.
I think Israel is just banking on Iran not retaliating.
So my question is, what is the plan if there is an all out war and bombs drop in Tel Aviv and Haifa? What is the plan if the power and food supply is affected? What happens to the job market and economy if people leave? Currently Israel is being effected by the fact that people are not working because they are in the battlefield. What happens if that gets worse?
