Jonathan Barnes he surely can groove, back in his Motown days with Marvin and al. But he met enough success with Gohstbusters and didn't compromise after that. Great to see he's still playing !!!
That’s because a lot of people never knew he played the guitar, they thought he just sang, on his old music videos he hardly played any guitar so he looked like just a good looking singer.
When it comes to Ray Parker or Raydio I don't even think about Ghostbusters 🤣🤣🤣 What album is this song from? I just bought his first solo album last week.
Ray Parker Jr. I love your music! I had the biggest crush on you growing up! I laugh now.....You still got it! You have truly been missed. You are still my heart-throb!
Top of the range master collection by Ray Park Jr I watch this video every week; he calls it, the sexy song; observe.. the way his eyes, mouth and hands synchronise with the beats, every part of his body is practically on fire with the harmonics.
I never knew he played instruments he's multitalented oh yes I love his bass and jazz sorry I didn't know you're better than I ever knew I love your songs man big up to you
You're so right. I only know Ray Parker Jr. for his pop tunes...and good tunes they were. No doubt. But, just heard an interview with Jay Graydon, who was all over the place doing studio work in the '70's, playing and producing (i.e. the phenomenal solo from Steely Dan's "Peg" is Jay Graydon). So, he mentions Ray Parker as being one of the top studio musicians at that time. I had no idea. But, I have a newly found appreciation.
"Anybody out there remember" Pryors Place...";with Richard Pryor, used to come on Saturday mornings in 1984-1985.....well Ray performed theme song.....look it up on UA-cam.....another hidden gem....!!!
WOW THANK THE LORD I FOUND THIS AGAIN .....WE WERE SO LUCKY GROWING UP TO THESE KIND OF TUNES .....
He's a quiet GOAT in the industry, very underrated but a bad dude!!!
I was always upset he never got his props. one of the greatest guitarists around
Jonathan Barnes he surely can groove, back in his Motown days with Marvin and al. But he met enough success with Gohstbusters and didn't compromise after that. Great to see he's still playing !!!
I totally agree
I'll take residuals over props in day.
That’s because a lot of people never knew he played the guitar, they thought he just sang, on his old music videos he hardly played any guitar so he looked like just a good looking singer.
I had no idea that he was a guitar maestro
Whomever gave this a "thumbs down" doesn't know about REAL MUSIC!

He is a dude that loves life so much that he helps others to do the same. Love you Brother Ray.
Ray has done soooo much more more than "Ghost Busters". Before it and since! He's a helluva guitarist and song writer.
You can say that again, Super Bass1964. Ray is one of my favorites because of his ongoing musical reputation. That's for damn sure. God Bless.
When it comes to Ray Parker or Raydio I don't even think about Ghostbusters 🤣🤣🤣
What album is this song from? I just bought his first solo album last week.
