Have you watched Christian Bale's greatest performance ever? Out of the Furnace. No gimmicks like weight loss and weight gain or prosthetic, just regular Christian Bale looking like himself and just blowing it out of the water.
The moment i saw batman ( cristian bale ) on the thumbnail i was already into this movie... That's all you had to show... Man cannot wait... ❤❤ also hi rick and korbin.. 🤗
You should really check out trailer 1 and trailer 2 for The lighthouse (Robert Pattinson, Willem Defoe). It looks like another contender for Academy Awards
Was that an AC/DC soundtrack? I love AC/DC. Christian bale is hands down one of my favorite actors. I loved him in mechanic and American psycho. And Batman. Best superhero movie ever made.
Petrol head lesson: Ferrari was in the midst of financial difficulties in the early '60s and made an agreement to sell most of the company to Ford, but on the day of the contract signing / deal closing, Enzo Ferrari balked, walked away from the table, and insulted Henry Ford II. Ford was so angry he vowed to topple Ferrari's dominance at Le Mans (and other endurance races), committing an unlimited budget to the development of the Ford GT race car. The GT Mark I was an abysmal failure, embarrassing Ford. A young Ford executive--Lee Iacocca--recommended to Henry Ford the deuce that Carrol Shelby be brought on board to helm the project. Shelby, along with a team of somewhat renegade "engineers" and a fearless former WWII tank commander turned race driver (Ken Miles), who helped develop the original Shelby Cobra, perfected the GT Mark II, entering five of the vehicles into the 1966 Le Mans. The Ford GT cars crushed Ferrari (and everyone else). Ken Miles, with the Mark II program from the start, was denied the win when Ford management ordered him to slow down to allow the 2nd and 3rd place cars to catch up (both Ford GTs, as well), so all three could cross the finish line at the same time in front of a furious Enzo Ferrari. Miles was not well liked by Ford's management team given his penchants both for going rouge during the development phase of the car and for not listening to anybody but Shelby. Ford went on to win Le Mans in '67, '68,' and 69' too. Miles died a few months after the 1966 Le Mans while testing the Ford GT Mk III, having never officially won the 24-hour race. The Mk III was revised and entered the '67 Le Mans as the Mark IV, the last Ford prototype endurance racer on which Shelby ever worked.
As a petrolhead and a long term follower of the old top gear/ the grand tour i already knew the actual story . This was the reason I wanted to watch this movie no matter what. And the wait was worth it. It's an absolutely mind blowing film which does justice to the actual story
When the Oscars come around, please do a reaction to the winners.
