The interval for changing the Power Steering Fluid is... well... nobody agrees on this. About every 2-4 years or when it gets a darker color. Also if your pump is noisy that can also be an indication.
Tools you'll need:
-Jack + stands/Car lift/Quick jack/Logs/Cinder blocks
-Syringe + Tube - to extract fluid from reservoir
-Pliers/Hose clamp pliers
-A tube + zip-tie - to make a cap that you put on your reservoir nipple so it doesn't drip
-Plastic bottle + zip-tie
Oil you'll need:
Ford - WSS-M2C938-A or equivalent

When you removed the return line and refilled the reservoir with new fluid, did not the reservoir fluid spill? Thank you!

Seems a little strange having the wheels spinning towards the end. This is just for the steering PAS fluid change??
The car was in gear when the engine was running. Nothing special. Not linked to power steering fluid change.

There is a pressure switch mounted on top of the pump, but that's about all I can find.

My wheel doesn’t move when I move it on the third position of the key. It only moves when the car is on. 2002 Ford Focus se
On a Ford Focus Mk1? That can't be.
@@N33sWorkshop on a 2002 Ford Focus se. Like you know how yours turns when you turn the key most of the way but right before you turn it on and the dash light turns on? The wheel is supposed to unlock and it’s supposed to be able to move I believe but mine doesn’t. The wheel does unlock but for whatever reason I can’t turn it in any direction. Could it be a power steering problem?

@@N33sWorkshop din cate stiu are,cel verde e pt cele cu pompa electrica iar cel rosu este pt cele cu pompa hidraulica!Eram curios de care ai pus si cum se manifesta!

Eu asta am primit: WSS-M2C204-A2 si asta am bagat in sistem.
La noi asa este, comanzi una si bagi ce primesti :))
De aceea ziceam, pot sa bag si bunica ca nu este nici o diferenta...
