Marina Bay Sands is renowned for its breathtaking festive illuminations, and it's set to elevate the experience with its upcoming Lunar New Year celebration. Located at the heart of The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, The Dragon Awakens: 2024 Light-Up promises to unveil two magnificent 40-meter-long dragons positioned in front of a towering 15-meter-tall Dragon’s Gate. Adorned with 88 koi fish ornaments, a dragon’s pearl, and 28 lotus lanterns, these decorations vividly depict The Legend of the Dragon Gate-a tale where a determined carp, upon crossing the dragon’s gate, transforms into a majestic dragon. Alongside the mesmerizing light display, attendees can anticipate captivating dragon and lion dance performances, koi dancers, and a musical showcase by Nathan Hartono. The highlight of the event, the dazzling drone light show at the Marina Bay waterfront, will commence at 8 pm on selected dates until February 18.
