You make the best travel vds and I can't believe you did this quality recording on just an iPhone! Your narratives are also sublime. Thank you for all your effort.
We have been to Singapore many times and it never gets old. You always find something new to tour. You hit all the right notes in this video. Well done mate . Thank you for sharing. Sending you much love❤ from Richmond, VA Jim, Harriet and Yuki
I would love a Universal tips video and am looking forward to pt 2! Great videography and narration, as usual! Thanks for all your work in creating these.
Skip Raffles Hotel and goto Atlas Bar instead. The interior is beautiful and it is an actual bar and not a tourist attraction that serves pre mixed drinks. Just a short walk up to Hadji Lane after that.
I appreciate your videos. First of all, you do your research, you structure them well and your voice is inviting to watch the video in full. I saw your Japan videos and helped me alot for my trip. I am now seeing Sinagpore and Bali to get inspiration for the next adventures.
Thank you for covering my home country ♥️ while i think there's nothing much to tour about in SG (good place to live but maybe not play), i enjoyed your video and find it is a nice balance between places that tourists frequent, and showcasing the local food and flavour which is our pride!

Oh wow. I’ll have a Malaysia video possibly out by then (we went there after Singapore). Going to Bangkok in a few days actually but probably won’t be filming as need a break!
Your Vlogs always makes me want to travel to that destination! Whenever I want to choose my next destination to travel, I come to your channel! I went to Spain couple years ago and your Barcelona video helped me a lot! Keep up the good work! :)
Well t would be a shame to visit once and not see the main sights. I’d thumb get comments saying ‘I can’t believe you went to Singapore and didn’t see X’. But if I’m going to go somewhere once I wanna see the most popular things usually. Because they are usually popular for a reason. If I go again I’ll see other stuff. Cheers
Excellent job on this video! Thank you for shooting in 4K!! Looks magnificent on our 77 inch display!!! Almost felt like I was there. 👍 Now I know that someday I must go there!
@@SuitcaseMonkey Ha! Maybe not for some things. But size sure mattered when I paid extra for this big screen. I love this thing, especially when I find hi rez content (like your video) that makes full use of it!
Unless you are going for the Grand Prix, if you want to miss busy period, just be careful your dates don’t clash with the Grand Prix. More covered in the follow up Singapore tips video coming in 2 weeks 😀
Very engaging even for this Filipino who has been to SG several times…great job! 👍🏼 Please DO make a hackers’ guide to Universal Studios SG as I’ll be back to that attraction a second time this April 2024. 🙏 Thanks!
Yeah as I mentioned in the video I’m not normally a zoo guy and I wouldn’t normally have visited if it wasn’t for it being so popular so I felt I needed to check it out for the video sake to be able to review it. From my limited understanding of animals I didn’t see anything like that but I get you
That was ages ago, I hope you can visit it again in present day as obviously massive changes have been made, and refresh or reinforce your perspective. Discovery walking tour tv has videos of the Singapore Zoo, night Safari, river wonders, bird paradise free for viewing on UA-cam
This is a well-curated video and helpful for my first travel to Singapore this coming March. I was amazed by your night shot. May I ask what camera were you using for those shots?
Hey. Everything on this channel is iPhone. This is 15 Pro Max. I don’t do any colour correction but some of the night shots I needed to increase the brightness a little in editing.
Are you in Singapore right now? I want to visit Singapore in the end of January. But I saw some news that you guys have covid outbreak right now. How is the situation today??
@@РозаВетров-щ8э Yes, there was a rise in cases in december and early january but its pretty much treated like the flu these days. See the doctor, wear a mask , be socially responsible and stay home. No special restrictions, life goes on.
Get your guide is not working today, tried several times. Maybe on monday after they fix the software patch. I noted Grab can access the same plans, but only 2, not 7.
Hi There, with the explorer card, do you pay anything for the actual card? Or do you just get the 33% off, due to buying it through the website? Clarification would be incredibly appreciated :D
Been there many times, and my friends sister is a domestic worker there, she tells me that they are very abusive to their workers. They MOM (Ministry Of Manpower) program even enforce that the workers keep quiet and do as they are told. Because of this unfortunately many of these workers commit suicide as they don't have anywhere else to turn to, they have their passports confiscated so they can't just get up and leave
Hi suitcase monkey😊. How does the get your guide all inclusive pass work please? Does it mean I can see as many attractions as I can fit in two days? Or is there is a maximum number of attractions I can see within 2 days... I'm confused cos I think I can fit in universal studios and at least 7 others.
Hey. I talk more about it in a follow up Singapore tips video so check that out. But there are two types of the all inclusive one includes USJ and you can see as much as you can within the amount of days you book. Or the other one is just for a set number of attractions and doesn’t include USJ
Arab,Malay, Indonesian alright then lets just forget about who really built brick by brick and still building with labour force day by day who!? Even this video ignored there is a place called little india over there for no reason that the tamil community exist and did their massive part on making Singapore what it is today 😢am sorry im just upset that hard working community gets ignored accidentally, by the way great video ❤😊
Hi. Thank you. This is always a hard part of my videos. Whilst I feel I do more research and give more info about an area we visit compared to the average travel UA-camr, I am always aware I’m not the History Channel and ultimately this is UA-cam and for entertainment and people looking to go on holiday. So compromise has to be made… We did visit little India after our walk around Glam and originally it was included in the script. However it got cut for time reasons (about 25% of each script gets cut for most videos). Also, because little India wasn’t part of the Jackson Plan which neatly tied those areas around Glam together, which I found really interesting, it just felt like it was slowing down the first chapter, pacing wise, if I then talked about little India separately. Also, this video is showing what a 3 day trip to Singapore would look like. Since it was a bit further away, practically I wouldn’t 100% suggest a tourist visit little India for the time it takes to get there. That’s why at the end of the video I show what a 4th day would like look and include shots from little India. I mention the area in part 2 of the video if you have more time. Hopefully that helps explain my thought process at least. Thanks again.
