Marina Bay Sands is renowned for its breathtaking festive illuminations, and it's poised to elevate the experience for the upcoming Lunar New Year celebration. Set against the vibrant backdrop of The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, The Dragon Awakens: 2024 Light-Up will unveil two magnificent 40-meter-long dragons flanking a towering 15-meter-tall Dragon's Gate. Adorned with 88 koi fish ornaments, a dragon's pearl, and 28 lotus lanterns, these decorations vividly depict The Legend of the Dragon Gate, a tale where a resilient carp, journeying upstream, transforms into a mighty dragon upon crossing the gate. Beyond the enchanting light display, attendees can anticipate captivating dragon and lion dance performances, mesmerizing koi dancers, and a musical showcase by Nathan Hartono. As the clock strikes 8 pm, a mesmerizing drone light show will illuminate the Marina Bay waterfront on selected dates until February 18th.
