I just bought this chair from Spinlife. It came in 3 boxes as you said. Mine is the Whill Ci2. I took it out for a spin here in AZ. It powered through gravel, grass, up and down curbs, I almost bit the dust a few times because its so powerful. The Eco, Standard and Sport modes was fun to play with, of course I went strait to sport and whizzed up and down the street like a maniac. VERY FUN CHAIR! Best thing I've bought in years! Being able to control it with your phone freaks people out, totally worth it for that alone! I also have a Quickie S646 SE so I'm used to going fast. I mainly bought it because of the portability, I also bought a 2nd battery for longer excursions. I HIGHLY recommend this chair!

May I ask where u bought ur "Whill-C" frm? I'm disabled with chronic pain frm hip dysplasia which I've struggled with for 15yrs.My legs now given way so I need to give In & treat myself to a Whill C!...Especially as ive struggled on for way too long! I have a mobility scooter at the mo. Altho my friend abs swears by her Whill C.She assures me its the best investment she's ever made! Im just so desperate to get out the house more. Ive no freedom.Its imposs as my hubby can't manage to lift my scooter into our carboot as it weighs a tonne! So I wouldn't want him to anyway. Just wondered what ur thoughts r on buying a 2nd hand or new Whill C & where to buy one? Im also wondering if any comp's do payment plans? Surely some comps do.We have r car on the motability scheme.But they don't allow a car & power chair,its just 1 or the other unfortunately.Big thanks in advance. Faye 😀
@@fayerosenthal2399 Hi! So, I got my Whill C from TGA Mobility, who are absolutely fantastic. They have both new and used whill chairs, including the model C, the C2 ( a slightly updated chair with new control system and solid underneath basket) and the whill model M. From my personal experience, the Whill Model M is a little on the bulky side, so if putting it inans out of a car, it could prove tricky. The model C & the C2 both break down into 5 parts (6 if using basket). Front wheels & footplate, rear wheels & main body, seat, battery & cushion. This greatly helps with storage and putting it into a car. My wife is 4'11 and very slim, she can put the model C in the boot completely unaided. We used to have a Mercedes A class, and it fitted into the boot, but recently changed to the Hyundai Tucson (also a motability customer!) The Tucsons boot is higher and bigger, but even easier to transfer the wheels in and out. As for buying second hand, TGA are a fantastic company and they wouldn't sell you something without being 100% sure it's in good condition and importantly works for you and your lifestyle. They also won't pressure you to buy something! Worth noting as well, that if you now need a powered chair as your mobility needs have changed, you can approach motability and discuss changing your car earlier if your current car cannot accommodate the chair you need. To do this, you need to have a minimum of 12 months left on your award of PIP/DLA, prove that a new car is necessary, and pay the upfront if there is one for the new car (though if you made an upfront payment on your current car, you will get part of it back when you change to a new car). The Whill Model C was absolutely the best investment I have made for my health needs. It allows me to do the things I want and have some independence. It's great indoors and out, low maintenance and so simple to use. It charges quickly from a standard plug socket, I often take the charge cable with me when I go out and most cafes are happy enough for you to have a quick plug in when needed. My advice is to go for it. You won't regret it. See it as an investment in your own quality of life and freedom. Hope you get one soon!

Really like the Whill Ci I just purchased a New Tilite TR and still getting use to that and I have had a Tilite ZR with a Smart Drive Power Assist for years. Really would like the to maybe get a Ci in the Spring. Great Video....
Thank you for the in-depth, honest appraisal. I was looking at a scooter due to back/knee/ankle injuries restricting my walking etc but this may be even better! May I ask how it goes with slopes, curbs and gravel please as I live in a country town (Australia) and foot paths haven't reached my end of town yet! LOL! The app is wonderful...but something to think about...what if you use the 'app' to move your chair away...and something happens to where you can't get it back? Then what? What if you lock it via the 'app'...but then it won't unlock because the 'app' no longer works or the chair is in some kind of mode to where it doesn't understand? These are just questions to ponder technology. I think people think' how easy is this'...without considering everything. Good video though. I wasn't aware of most of the features you mentioned.
