I have two 407 and one 307 and they are great filters, and I just bought the E200 heater for my new ND tank which will be here a few weeks! Cant go wrong with Fluval, pay a bit more but they are great quality and easy to use/customize.
Thanks for this Mick, I am looking into this filter at the moment so very useful! Great tip about stacking the ceramic rings neatly, bet you fit loads more in that way too! 😁
Love watching your videos Mick I have the 406 filter. And its never let me down I got that and a 250L tank with loads of accessories for 200 quid. Was a absolute bargain. One day I might get a monster tank like yourself. Keep up the good work mate
hey nice video I love Fluval canister filter I bought 206.306 In my coutry some people think Fluval canister filter 's sponge system doesn't really work they prefer Eheim or other brend sponge system . what do you think ?does it really work? thank u
I didn’t change anything at all apart from removing the carbon and the hole in the head cleared up within 3 weeks. I have done tests on it in the past and always did the same thing. Gives you imperial water clarity but it isn’t good for fish.
This is so very true about carbon in a filter, yes it will cause hole in the head for Oscar's, cause I kept that species of fish for a long time and did a experiment with carbon and sure enough over time it happened to my Oscar's and I removed the carbon and it cleared up and never returned. So take my advice no carbon with Oscar's, just lots of water changes and you will have some healthy Oscar's.
Not starting it’s not a massive aquarium it’s a decent large aquarium that’s to correct you also massive aquariums personally is something like a 20 ft long by 6ft by6ft that’s counted as massive but not going to complain nice aquarium 10ft aquarium from ND aquatics plus what happened to ur jaguar cichlids

@@MicksFishUk Cool man thanks for sharing that. I guess I will have to try it this time around with no carbon.

Would you recommend 407 on a 75gal tank??
Isn't that overprice ?

Massive in normal, average house terms.
