Have an Avata that I just took to Tahiti. Agree with many of you comments and on limitations (like challenges with wind), but was amazing to dive cliffs, fly over the waves, etc. Same as you, have been looking into 5" and 7" bind and fly FPVs. Would love to hear what you consider. Looks like getting an O3 VTX with TBS crossfire RX is the way to go for a good medium range responsive setup that doesn't specifically require a gopro.
@@robinhannevig its receiver for the controller, but then you have to use different controller, not the DJI, but the Crossfire has a range of cca 40km as for the cinewoop custom build try OddityRC, it is far much better than geprc I have XI3.5" and it flies like 5", and I will build XI2.5" in next 10 days, they are amazing, wind is not an issue, I live on Middle East, and gusts are here up to 50kmh+ and it flies really nice
@@robinhannevig of course you don't have to go with crossfire, since you own avata you can just get drone with any fpv digital system and use the dji remote, if you don't plan to fly really long range, I think if you fly 1-2km around you, you are safe with let's say o3 unit on your drone (I assume with o3 you can fly even more than that)... :)
iFLIGHT Chimera 7" V2 is the best smooth flyer for great 03 video. Top speed can be well above 100kmh so wind is never a problem. Flight time with 6S 1300 I get around 6 minutes.
Just got Avata & Fly More Kit today. Location of usb & card is almost impossible to access! The batteries are incredibly slow to recharge! The Avata does not handle wind at all! Anyone found any solutions?
Noise level indeed, but remote id you can get the integra goggles which has it built in, no need for phone connection. Also, if you know someone that has a type of fpv, you could always ask to try first😊
@@robinhannevig i bought the Mini 3 Pro with the RC controller because it does not need to connect to a phone - too much hassle. Good thing you told me to get the Integra goggles
they dont handle much wind, bit slow and boring but well done try elrs with a 5 inch freestyle quad, yes and it screams ! I had the fpv drone but the battery failed , lost it, then found it and set it back to amazon for refund
picked up the Avata a few weeks ago, and went with the integra goggles due to remote id being built in and no need to plug cell phone in to fly!!
Are you flying the Custom Motors??
How’s the airport security bringing Avata in Hawaii? Did they notice your bag with drone at the airport? Do we need registration to fly in Hawaii?
The colour grade in this is sooo good, how do you get these, luts?? my D-cinelike from Avata is no so good, any advises? Great vid btw ✨🔥
Thanks👍 it’s my signature luts 🌈
I have the Avata and goggles 2 and i don't need to connect my phone in order to fly...

Thanks bud🙌 that tbs crossfire rx, i have no idea what that is, but i am all with you 😅

I don’t mind trying something completely new, but i would prefer to use the goggle v2 or the goggles 2.
Problem is, there’s so many😅

Never flown a FPV but watching your videos make me want to give it a try😄
It is awesome! You should definitely give it a try😊 you will get hooked!
@@robinhannevig 2 things you mentioned in your video that worries me is the high pitch sound and the remote ID issue

Det er en del stilige plasser her i Agder, som egner seg til FPV. Anbefaler å ta turen 📸
Even though if there two or more batteries we need to land the drone and have to change again😅
You ranted so much about Remote ID but not even mentioning that Goggles Integra doesn’t require phone connection
Phone problem: but a rubber plug
