If you are are achievement or trophy hunting for this game, don't recover the Fleetstar to the garage. Instead, fix everything on it except the wheels and refuel it by towing the repair trailer over next to it with another truck. After that, drive the Fleetstar around the garage tarmac for around 5 minutes or so and then you will unlock the achievement/trophy for driving 1km with all wheels broken.
It's no problem at all to start playing, take a quick sip of a nice beverage, then notice about 5 hours have passed. The hours flying by is a sure sign you're having fun.
This game is highly frustrating and annoying. But I can’t stop playing it because although it’s frustrating, it doesn’t hold your hand. There is no help or hints, everything you have to find out by yourself (or by watching a UA-cam video) and I kinda like that…
No AWD?? I imagine you got frustrated more than once. I know I did, and I used it. Buying the Azov truck is a huge boon in the early game... which you're likely far past by now.
@@_gamma. I was at 8% in Michigan when I learned about the Azov. In one gaming session I jumped to 35%, very nearly completing Black River. That one truck returned every bit of the fun, and took away all the frustration I had been stuck in. I can't recommend it enough. If interested, you have to be in the Taymyr map to buy it. I sold the first large truck in the game along with a free DLC truck. Bought the Azov and had plenty left. Even with the default tires, the Azov is miles beyond the other early-game trucks.
I actually really like the scout once it's upgraded a bit. The diffock and all wheel drive are a nice base to build on. It is really top heavy but with the autonomous winch and some off road tires it can take you pretty much anywhere you want to go.
I'm a snowrunner beginner but I played SpinTires the original game way back in the day when it was a pre-release. I just completed a log delivery in Michigan from the Log place to the farm up the tiny trail without fixing any bridges and my fleetstar only has the AWD upgrade and nothing else. Took a long time and almost lost the logs once but GOOD FUN! I'm sure there was an easier way but GOOD FUN!
Ive kinda gotten used to that, is it ok if I continue with controller mode or will that become annoying in the future when I unlock more maps and trucks?
@@just_a_sushi you can play however you like. Personally I’d rather have it set to steering wheel. Moving the wheels back to center manually with a controller just seems strange to me.
@Azeridon it gives me the feel that the truck is actually heavy haha. But yes it is annoying when im going high speeds on a nice highway. (Switching to dashboard view does make it a bit easier though)
I've started toi play early July this year, but didn't meet your video. All the staff I've got from 100 resources... :( Thank you very much for SUCH delicious content in one place! Especially for mods! Ребята, если кто из РФ смотрит это видео - включайте субтитры, просматривайте и мотайте на ус, также загляните в описание к видео, там много ТОП ссылок, которые мне пришлось собирать самостоятельно. I found the scout800 to be a great rig with roof rack and lights. I find the locked diff to keep from getting stuck in mud. Although the k1500 with lift and tires and motor I have is harder to get stuck, it stays stuck more than the scout. But I'm still new. I tend to use the scout to tow the big rigs with the winch on hard terain.
To each their own. If you like it use it! Just my opinion that there’s much better scouts in game and by selling the 800 you’ll get a bit of money that could be helpful early game.
I almost quit playing this game so many times I actually uninstalled it because I bought bricks instead of concrete blocks One other useful trick is just look up whatever task your doing on UA-cam really quick to help you get an idea of what you need to complete it ie. trailers cargo trucks ect you’ll save yourself a lot of frustration
10:40 you are definitely correct with that. I was finishing some leftover task in Alaska and I have the loadstar scout loaded with fog lights and I just ended driving without the lights on. Too damn bright
I don’t know if it’s really a mistake I did but for some reason when I started out I switched to smithville dam and stayed there, I’m almost finished with it and once I am I will go back to black river to finish that map and continue with my journey.❤❤
I passed Michigan and Alaska and hated how easy it got. Had so much money from selling dlc trucks and I would always recover trucks to cheat. So when new game + cane out I made my own hardmode. And restarted from scratch. I have way more fun now.
I plan to start a whole hard mode run. No new game + though just straight hard mode. But I still have season 9 and 10 to get through and by that time season 11 will probably be out as well.
I got the Tayga and it helped alot to feel like mudrunner. Staying with All terrain tires provides just the right of mudrunner vibe. In mudrunner which i completed, it always afforeded the right vehicle for the right job. Snowrunner at the start does not. So tayga it is.
mudrunner is basically spin tires with less features. they added so much to do in snow runner. i wanted to see if i was doing anything correctly lol. so OHS is the best tire got it.
I recently got back into the game and purchased the Mastadon DLC so far that truck has helped me a lot with Michigan. Do you recommend getting the Tayga still I mostly play solo so trying to get every advantage I can lol 😂
If you have a truck or trailer sitting somewhere that particular area will not be reset. For example. You could clear all the rocks and signs from a road that you’ve previously “fixed” if you park a truck there those rocks and signs will never be back on the road again. Same goes with mud/terrain anywhere on the map.
Oh don’t worry I already have a mudrunner addiction I know the consequences of getting another spintires game also what is your opinion about the new expeditions game?
You need to go to the sawmill with a truck with a bed or a trailer. You should be able to load planks from the zone there. The map should also have ⬆️ on the map meaning this is a place where you can pick up the cargo you need.
All I have in the beginning is that terrible pickup truck and I'm stuck in the mud right out of the gate. I don't think this game is for me, and I loved the driving/logistics in Death Stranding. But not even being able to get out of the first area is too frustrating for me.
@@tekch1c silly question but…did you enable AWD? I think that’s an option at the start with that truck. I forget tbh it’s been a while. But the game is difficult in the beginning for sure.
@@Azeridon OMG... this made the difference! I have no idea how it toggled off. I just restarted the tutorial and it was on, and I finally got to the second truck now. Thank you! The controls are a bit of a challenge. I was winching everywhere, nothing was dragging me out of that mud. :D
You’ll definitely find low gear to be useful in mud. If your tires are spinning and kicking up mud/water switch to low gear so they stop doing that and I guarantee you’ll be moving more than you were in Auto.
@@umomiekiller oof. I mean that’s okay. It’s just better than the truck you’re given at the start. The game gets way easier as you unlock more tires and get better trucks. Also, don’t be afraid to use mods. There’s definitely over powered ones but the important thing is you’re having fun not just getting stuck constantly.

I completed my first few missions after seeing you use the fleetstar with its flatbed, thank you.
I recently bought Snowrunner off PSN during the black friday sale and I am legit ADDICTED to this game
Played with the fleestar for ~3 hours without AWD 😅 this will speed up my deliveries, and maybe I’ll stop tearing out trees!

No AWD and only highway tires is a good way to burn fuel whilst remaining stationary and tearing down trees. 😂

The Scout 800 with the tyres DLC changes it completely. The JDS III change it completely

Use steering wheel mode for controller. auto centers so you're not always fighting the wheels
