Love this build! I reached out and you sent me the templates for the wings, and I’m almost finished. Thanks for all the great ideas and the help- and for posting your videos...very much appreciated!
Fantastic. I have this toy. I'm not going to light it but I am going to paint and weather it and hang it on the wall. Thank you for a great video series.
It's a wonderful job. You seem to have given up the step between the engine pod and the nozzle. Every X-WING of this manufacturer has the same defect. I hope the manufacturer will convert as soon as possible to watch.
Nice work! (Both the mods and the videos) I just picked up one of these last night for $20. Wish I could find the Falcon too. Looking forward to trying out some of your customization techniques.
Looks great! Can you do one of these as a diorama where the x-wing is factory fresh? You know like it just came off the assembly line and the owner is getting ready to pick up a fleet of them?
Thanks for your kind comments.. I actually have no plans on doing another one, just too many other projects to work on. I did see one online that was done as a diorama. Follow this link and you'll be amazed. I came across this build as I was researching this project. www.imperialshipyards.net/SMF/index.php?topic=8775.msg189445#msg189445
I actually plan on adding some pastels there. I was a bit undecided on what to do with the intakes. Didn't think it would look so great painted. Thanks.
Thanks for watching. It's a fun project to work on. I think the black series figure would be too large, however. The figure we bought only measured 3.75" in height and it came recommended by another builder.
Hi...thanks for the inquiry but no I'm sorry, I typically don't do commissions and also don't have time to devote to another one. You might want to try posting the request on the Starship Modeler facebook page. Thanks again.
Please refer to video 5 which details the interior build out. As for the dark gray, I didn't actually forget. I purposely did not paint the interior of the back engines because the lighter color enhanced the illumination. As for the anterior intakes, I found myself undecided. I'll probably end up adding some dark pastels. Thanks.
bigwhopper6501 this was actually a gift for someone and it’s been long gone. If i were to do it today....maybe. Would depend on how much room I had for display. I knew he’d be hanging it from the ceiling. Thanks for your question
I really enjoyed this series, truly inspiring! Love the clear and detailed tutorials. The ship looks amazing.
Thank you for your kind comments 😊
Brilliant. Love the flickering lights idea and the use of pastels for us that don't posess an air gun is great.
Looks amazing I’d love to see more of these!! ❤❤❤❤
Thanks. Only problem is that there so big lol. Just no room to display them but it was a fun project for sure
Stellar upgrade to ship. Turned a basic toy into a truly impressive display model. Top notch...she looks great lighted up. Bill
Thanks Bill

Thanks. Yeah I'm afraid the Falcon is getting harder to find and the price has shot way up too. Appreciate your kind comments and for watching.
Great build, weathering looks fantastic. Kinda wish you would have lighted the cockpit tho.... overall 10+
the underside and cockpit turned out really well. i can't tell that there was ever a lack of detail in those places.
Looks like your work paid off there
thanks so much for sharing your proyect, I'm SPECHLESS....!!!

Epic. Does it fit to the TIE Fighter ? By Hasbro
Sofiane Sweek not sure. Thanks
Amazing build!
Looks great, I didn't see much weathering with the engine intake ducts
I actually plan on adding some pastels there. I was a bit undecided on what to do with the intakes. Didn't think it would look so great painted. Thanks.
Looks great!
Well done ..what size figure did you use?black series 6inc?
Yes it was the 6" figure
nice work
I wonder if my 6inch luke black series figure would look good with this xwing? Thanks for the review i am gonna do this :)
Thanks for watching. It's a fun project to work on. I think the black series figure would be too large, however. The figure we bought only measured 3.75" in height and it came recommended by another builder.
I just found one of these at a thrift store. I found the European one. Would you consider doing mine? And what would you charge if so?

me encanta !!!!
Saludos !!!

Xcellent work!
Great Job!!!
Thank you Mitch
How did build the interior? You forgot to paint inside the engine. Both front and back in dark gray or somewhat closer.

your paint job is really great 10/10
U ever thinking of making custom landing gear?
