Last year I stepped away from the "standard" medieval style I had always built and switched to Japanese for my first hardcore world. A year later I'm still going, the Japanese island base is finished and I've become confident enough in that style to teach others. It was so rewarding mastering a new style I've switched again for my new project and loving the experience learning new build methods
Right now I’m in that stage of just figuring out basic ideas such as texturing so I build only in a rustic/medieval style. I’m hoping some day I’ll be able to build other ways, but I’ll need to get much better at building because I can’t even imagine building in a style like Japanese or futuristic
Oh my goodness, such beautiful builds in here, so inspiring! I'm just finishing the gate of the major castle tutorial in my survival game, it's looking great. But all these beautiful builds of yours make me want to start some new projects, some docks, better village houses and a tavern would be good... love your stuff!
hey, do u play on any server? I'm looking for a small multiplayer server for builders so as a community we could make the minecraft survival world pretty. I tried on normal servers but people there just grief anything that is not claimed and it sucks to restrict your builds just because you don't have enough claimblocks.
@@aryakumar9921 no, I've never played on a server with other players except my son who is 8 and enjoys grieving 😑 lol I'm not into destroying anything, especially not a build someone has put hours into! I'd be interested in joining such a server, have you managed to get anything started?
@@taniaphillips3124 Sadly, no. The only way I know is through aternos. It has 4GB storage for any server.
My problem in building is that I don't know from where I want to start.
you schould start with the layout and than go do the roof than do the walls normally than detail outside and than detail walls blocks and inside build

Thank you Paradigm, yeah there's not a lot videos covering those styles and I think mainly because there's less general interest in those styles. It's a shame because i'm sure those style would make fun projects =)
@BlueNerd Minecraft I agree 100%. I've wanted to build facilities and industrial-type stuff for a while now, but it is SO hard to find inspiration. That or I find a build that is way beyond my skill level, lol. Either way, your videos rock man, thanks for making them!

I like some of Big Tony's city builds, some modern build ideas there that can be modified to fantasy quite easily
These are great ideas and I truthfully have gottin stuck more then once where I get bored or the why am I doing this. I like your dea of breaking things up and doing something different or just move to start something else then come back later to be re-energized or maybe catch a Blue video new or old to find new stuff 😉Just great content and overall great things to add to any build. Haha, so true about builds without interiors! The bit I’m STILL struggling with is between the builds! Thanks for tips about market stalls, ponds, gardens etc.

I’ve been looking for a ton of vids recently after deciding to start a big village build in my survival world. Your channel has helped tons! I spawned in a snowy tundra biome, so it’s been a struggle to decide whether to go Nordic or medieval, but your videos give me lots of inspiration and ideas. Are there any specific things that you think would work in a snowy biome?

Awesome video. Something I've done is to build a fountain like a bit of a cave. I've got one made like a piece of a geode, a lush cave, and one with stalagmites/ stalactites. I'm not real happy with the looks yet, but they're getting there

Really nicee and large Kingdom.The new update caves and cliffs came with quite huge caves, so I'll use 4xdeepslete each other and burned nether bricks. I decided to put the new castle underground, but when I saw this video I might wait and get inspired by the new castle. I found a Huge Cave with half water half lava , so many flors ,green flors ufff Lets Gooo !!!

I'm building an Italian style village with a waterfront shop area. It's challenging because I'm still new to building without tutorials and there are few Italian/Mediterranean builds to draw inspiration from.

2:34 😂 funny thing about me is I love making interiors that I find it hard to make exteriors because I want to work on the Interiors😅
My friend and I started to build a Medieval city in survival, but got burned out after like 5 big houses (with city foundations as well). The amount of resources needed is insane. I went to chop 5 stacks of oak logs, thinking that it would last a while. Turns out, it was barely enough for ONE house.
Hey buddy, yeah it's easy to get burned out on large projects which why i like to have smaller projects on the go so I can go back and forth from the larger ones as it can start to feel like you just grinding all the time so be sure to mix in some smaller builds for when you need a break from the big ones.
Hey, do you and your friend play on an aternos server or something? I wanted to play in an only-builders server for a long while but found none. Do you know of any?

I couldn't find ANYTHING on UA-cam and I'm not ready to build on my own... I don't know where to start 🥺 if you could do something like it I'd be very grateful 🥺🥺

Small tip: putting a villager on a honey block will stop them from moving around so you don’t have to worry about them escaping :)
