- The Yak-130 combat trainer was selected as the winner of the trainer competition of the Voyenno Vozdushnyye Sily, Russian Federation Air Force, in April 2002. The aircraft is also actively marketed for export by Yakovlev, the Irkut company, and by Rosoboronexport.

Is the Yak-130 sufficiently robust to replace the Su-25 attack fighter? Russia had only about 200 Su-25's when the Ukraine war started, they have lost a lot of them to date. I don't think Su-25 production is possible anymore, the assembly tools have long ago been destroyed.
I'm quite certain Russian factories have been untouched by Ukraine.
Yak-130 doesn't carry enough firepower to replace the Su-25, nor is it armored enough.
Su27 was produced in Georgia.
Yak130 is a pilot training aircraft and the Su25 has destroyed à lot of ukrains weapons in the battlefields .
