Applied Energistics! We are now able to digitise and consolodate our storage, making it easier to craft and find items. Then we move into the MV age by adding to our collection of Medium Voltage machines. These go on a separate line, along with the four extra EBFs we also add for passive ingot production of: Energetic & Vibrant Alloy, Stainless Steel and Aluminium. Next we future proof DML and start to anticipate the material and circuit demand for the creation of plastic.

05:02 MV Blast Furnaces

Congrats on 7k dude! I still cant believe how you can make such high quality vids in a or two, dont overwork yourself tho, we can wait
One useful tip I will note is that you can use your Crystal Growth Chamber to make Fluix crystals rather than dropping the ingredients in water. Far easier to automate this way and easier on the server if you're making a lot of the stuff at once.
For the cutting machine, it's advisable to invest in Lubricant which is pretty cheap to make, is used very little at a time, and massively speeds up the cutting machine relative to water. The cutting machine once you have it is by far the best way to make plates, and the compressor loses almost all of its relevance except for specific things like heavy plating.
The man, the legend himself, back on commenting. I’m a fan Exa, love your work
@@mrphantom0519 thank you, I'm glad you're enjoying the pack 😄
I somehow binged through all gtnh episodes and finished RIGHT BEFORE you started Nomifactory, and I'm really glad I can now focus on this promising series. Also congratulations on 7 k!
AE2 doesn't make keeping things organized easier, Three. It makes it so that you don't have to do any organizing at all ;)
You don't want to build one of my extremely silly and ludicrously overkill 256 P2P controller designs? Why, I'm shocked. I heard about your legendary multiblock building skills and thought for sure you would be up to the challenge ;)
If there's no way to make a naming plate in this pack (which is basically the automateable version of using the quartz cutting knife to directly name interfaces) than no, not that I'm aware of.
I seem to recall a lack of early ore processing being a regret in GTNH as well.
I enjoy the work required to manage channels in kitchen sink packs, but i would probably leave them off for the early game in this pack to avoid the resource cost of controllers since the pack was built with channels off.
Yo this channel deserves more, I started playing nomifactory a week ago and this playthrough really help, it's entertaining and It helps me understand how to progress a bit better and what options I got to do stuff, I see the latest series is ATM7, maybe I play that once I'm done with nomi.
so many fast consistent uploads! Im very impressed!
the good ol' times. Thanks three for all the good moments
So excited to see you passive all the things!!
Havent clicked faster in my life.! Content this is insade love the mixup of the series, its refreshing :)
You seem refreshed as well and back at it at full speed after vacation, hope you had fun :)
Threefold , how much fun are you enjoying with this pack, honestly it’s great to see you take a break from mega expert packs, we can totally see how much you are enjoying this pack.
Another great vid! Love that you're uploading frequently again and having fun! Glad to know that GTNH is still continuing as well, love that series too.
I feel like it's going to be a struggle to beat you to creative vending even though I'm already at creative tank! You're really putting in the hours man! I'll keep commenting my progress and we'll see how this "race" turns out haha. So far still refactoring my base to take advantage of creative tanks so I can tear down the dozens of blast furnaces it took to make the first one.
Thats awesome! I love hearing about others progress, keep us updated! If you're already at tank there is no way I overtake you haha You got this! :D
if you shift right click with an empty storge drive you can take tthe component out
I really love your videos they are really enjoyable and even though they contain alot of information about mods they are not confusing or boring. Just perfectly balanced for my viewing experience since I dont know much about mods lolol
You can put an anvil module in your staff of travelling if that's something you like to keep on your hotbar, and it's an easy way to name interfaces. I believe you can get the anvil modules in tools you can find in the lost cities aswell. also I think nomi has a drawer framing tool for framing drawers very easily and making them look nicer, it is very convenient if that's something you would like to do
Wow so much effort put into these videos, and it has been daily the last couple, don’t work too hard and burn out XD anyways these vids are awesome and I seriously hope to see your channel get much more attention, you more than deserve it!
Saw your comment on a lashmak GTNH video and came to check your channel, great videos! Subscribed
I'm enjoying this series and still watching through gtnh
JEI search > standard search 🙃
Yes you have to use anvils to rename stuff
You can make fluix in the growth chamber
JEI Synchronized Standard Keep ftw
in my regrowth playtrough i used the level emitters with crafting cards for my on demand slate production at the blood altar. Really usefull if you don't want to pasive them. Just use the level emitters to enable/disable outputs from the blood altar that filter by item, so that only the ones that are being crafted get outputted and set the interface with the patterns to only output to empty inventories, so the slates are done one by one.
By the way three, I suggest for blast furnaces, that in nomi you can put multiple machine controllers on a single ebf. This is really nice since you can control machines based of the amounts of two items rather than just 1. Eg for tungstensteel you can cap the tungstensteel at 4k, but not run until you have at least 1k tungsten saved up.
Something we made use of in Omni and generally a great idea for things which you need to check multiple conditions for! Thanks :D
Glad too see your still using the AE Breeks Edition rofl
I'm borrowing that blast furnace design, using interfaces and item conduits like that never occurred to me before!
Absolutely! Feel free to take any and all the setups you can see, It's cool to see people using my designs and iterating on them to fit their own needs, I hope you are enjoying Nomi!! Welcome back to the channel btw :D
Just watching this reminds me of how I quit nomifactory just way too quickly
Three, I might recommend for the future not using EIO ME conduits for anything other than long distance connections, and using ME glass cables for direct connections to functional blocks. EIO ME conduits have a tendency to disconnect themselves from blocks while appearing operational
I vastly prefer the GTNH coil blocks (texture wise) over these
I have to agree with you here :D
@@Threefold. Also, it's taking so long to get progress in GTNH that you recorded another series to fill the gap. I thought that was funny.
Unfortunately yeah they're a bit boring, but texture packs can snazz them up.
GTCEu, a fork of the version of GregTech we use in this pack (incompatible with the pack unfortunately), has some pretty cool textures that I believe are modeled after 5U's (the version in GTNH) that also glow with emissive bloom effects while the blast furnace is running.
I'm confused on how the vibrant alloy was set up. Cause won't it will go through all your materials. I mean everything else has a hard limit
yes, you're correct in pointing that out. However it takes so long for the vibrant alloy to reach anywhere near the levels we would want it to stop, it's not an issue. But an extra level emitter wouldn't go a miss... well spotted :))
9:28
1day ingame! On ep 4. Get some sleep bro!
three will gtnh continue or are you taking a break for it?
16:34 I'm more interested in why's diamond " triple yellow" channel 😂😂
make lubricant for your cutter! it's super worth it
Woot
just a question but why do you hate crafting cards also congrats on 7k
Is the other pack on pause or done?
As you can tell its not done, its just a pause to not go insane from gtnh
tisk tisk, leaving peaceful to get glitch armor
Ender IO Armor + Angel Ring is way better than glitch armor IMO.
Can you explain overclocking in your next video. Hard to find a good explanation.
The way you have the energetic alloy and vibrant alloy blast furnaces set up, it will eat through all of your gold redstone and/or glowstone. It will make 500 energetic alloy, then the 501st ingot will be immediately turned into vibrant alloy. The energetic alloy BF can never be stopped because it cant possibly reach 1000 unless you run out of ender pearls. You need to either change or add a control for vibrant alloy that is specifically vibrant alloy.
Ah nvm someone already commented on it
Be careful when you to back to gtnh or you'll definitely blow something up lol
God the GTCE amp system is so cursed
algorithm
I don't understand people going with cables other than superconductors if they aren't using lv or trying to achieve the first superconductors to connect to the superconductor producing machines. Wasting energy because of not having that 0 loss per block is something that i hate
I am currently playing gergicality Skyblock and i have around 1000 superconductor 4x cables in my base, it's a little bit expensive(most of them are hv which is cheaper tho)
@@ahmetemregurdal501 When you get to large numbers for power, a handful of EU of loss is pretty negligible. Post-tank of course is a different story
The first lossy cable that I tend to use while playing is Platinum, since it's a trivial amount of loss at that tier of power (and I build setups where there's only four blocks of 16x cable for it to travel anyway) and it's significantly less expensive than the lossless cable. At low power tiers, it's absolutely of huge benefit to use the custom Thermal/EIO lossless material cables, since a loss of even 1 EU/block can hurt a lot at LV when each amp is only 32 EU and many machines consume full amps.
@@Exa4096 I never searched anything other than tin or superconductor so well thanks for the knowledge:D
I get catharsis from watching your series after watching other people play automation games that make me cringe
First
maybe cooler to play, but gtnh was cooler to watch
