- Kimigayo (His Imperial Majesty's Reign) is the national anthem of Japan. The lyrics of "Kimigayo" are the oldest among the world's national anthems, and with a length of 32 characters, they are also the world's shortest. The lyrics are from a waka poem written by an unnamed author in the Heian period, set to music composed in 1880.

This anthem demands so much authority and almost feels divine.
Because it is divine! Just like His Imperial Majesty the Emperor!
This song is also a prayer.
Long live Japan. Long live Emperor Naruhito.
Amen God
Amen
Japan: the Light, the Truth, the Hope of Asia.

Simple yet grand.
The most simple and majestic anthem at the same time.
May the world soon be enlightened by the legacy of Amaterasu
The best Asian anthem
It definitely fits the ancient and serene nature of the Imperial monarchy of Japan
Agree
Nah you should hear the anthem of the empire of korea
Russia laughing in the distance
@Steve Well, Russia is Asian as well as turkey. To be specific, both Turkey and Russia can be called as Eurasian countries ( Included in both Asia and Europe) but if you want proper asia then the Indonesian Raya can best it easily.
My choices ( According to how much I like the melody),
Asian Anthems -
1) Indonesian Raya
2) Indian Anthem
3) Kimigayo
4) Sri Lanka's Anthem
5) China's Anthem.
Thank you from Japan!
Banzai!
This anthem gives me goosebumps!
As a Malaysian Muslim that grew up watching Doraemon, I can say that both national anthems of Japan and Malaysia sound good in their own way! I wish I could visit Tokyo someday!
I hope you you can one day
Long live the Emperor!!!
Amen God

Lyrics in Japanese:
君が代は、千代に八千代に。
細れ石の岩と態て。/ 細れ石の岩と爲りて。
薹の生すまで! / 薹の產すまで!
umm, slightly different.
細石の巌となりて
苔のむすまで
