VW Transporter T6.1 Kombi Timelapse - From Builders Van To Kombi Sleeper!

In this video, we take a VW Transporter T6.1 commercial van and transform it into a Kombi sleeper day van!
First we strip the T6.1 of ply lining and trim panels. Clean the vehicle and prep the insides.
We then install the Kombi quick release seat brackets, under chassis reinforcement brackets, seat belt reinforcement and belts.
Next up is cutting the windows out followed by 3 stage insulation (Sound deadening, Thermoliner & Thermafleece insulation).
Then on to carpet lining all exposed metalwork and removable panels.
Finally the windows are installed and then finishing touches such as side step and rear threshold are installed.
