Yes, if it was mine I would have a sequoia table mount on the floor with a removable post so we could have a little table. With regards to the seat removal. You could remove the rear and left hand bench part without too much trouble/time, the right hand bench wouldn't be removable in this particular build as all the electrical component and leisure battery are installed in that location. It's all done to the customers build spec and everyone is different and required different uses which is the great things about these builds!

Hi Eddie, Fitting a bench triple in the middle row requires the larger type brackets. The smaller L shape brackets are used on the far outside brackets of a 2+1.

No we don't. Same as the VW factory built Kombi's. We do treat any bare metal from drilling with primer/sealer. You could put a bit of sealant around the holes prior to the brackets going in but we've never seen any water ingress from this area in retro fitted or factory Kombi's.

Go for it if your can. Nice to be able to use for days out or weekends/weeks away. We use ours more for days out than camping but its so handy to randomly stop at a beach on the way home and have food and drink whilst watching the sunset. Regards Simon

Hi, You will need to speak to where you purchased your bars from. Usually side bars come with the fitting kits from the manufacturers.

Hi Thanks for your comment. After installing the headlights, you can park your van face on from a wall/fence etc.. Depending on the position of the bulb, you can sometimes cast a shadow(black spot) where you would want a clean light pattern. If you reach behind the headlamp to the back of the bulb you can rotate it slightly and watch on your wall the shadow move out of eye line. You are trying to create the cleanest beam pattern you can for the best vision at night. It's a little bit tricky to explain but I hope this helps. Next time we install these headlights, I will see if we can do a video on the set up! Cheers Simon

Hi James, You wouldn't be able to have UK seating the other way round as the seat belt receptacle and levers on the single seat would be on the wrong side and the seat is offset so I can't see that working. Also the belt and receptacle on the double would also be wrong. Best Regards Simon

Hi Steven, The van in this video is a non 4Motion. This one was running 245/65/17 with no issues. Just go careful not to go too big or too wide with the AT Tyres as problems can occur when moving into 18” or bigger.

This is a good point, The heater unit and ducting is protected by the under trays (once refitted). The unit and ducting sits higher than the vans control arms and table so you would bottom out on these first BUT if you're often using your van off road or through floods then we would highly recommend to have an internal heater install.

Thanks, appreciate the feedback. Been there and done that, laying on my back out in the rain trying to fit side bars. Actually, When we started many years ago our ramp wouldn't fit LWB vans on so all LWB ones where done on the ground outside. Luckily we moved into our newly built workshop back in 2019 and have the 5ton extra wide ramp for commercials.

Hi John, I’m not in the shop today but I’m sure it’s 8mm threaded bar. I cut them to around 450mm length to allow us to drop the tank and leave it in position whilst we install brackets, diesel heating and other mods! Saves us having to remove completely and free’s up our gearbox jack. Simon

Problem with just bonding is we have seen many spoilers bonded on by others and they have come off! We have one in the workshop at the moment that needs re-bonding as it probably wasn’t prepped properly or the correct primer applied!

Will be coming out hopefully this week, apologies, we’ve been super busy in the workshop and no time for editing just yet!

Thanks, I'm wouldn't know to be honest as we only install genuine VW Belts. The genuine belts are designed to go in this location and the spools have the correct mounting bracket to install in the vans bodywork. (there is a notch out for it to sit level). I would recommend factory bell and reinforcement plates only!

easiest way is to google the part number on your belt retractor unit and it will state left or right!
