Those laydown gybes on an needle are worth a million! So amazing to see you with legendary Antoine! I was really nervous when you hit that chop going at insane speed... I thought you're going to crash. Fantastic video, well done!
Wow ! Amazing footage ! Love the images when you are following Antoine or ahead . Absolutely insane speed and jibes, kudo ! Thank you once again Andy for an incredible video celebrating our sport ! i
Just Amazing.., feeling of speed.., Crazy.,. And the sound of the wind on water.. is better than all the loud disconnected music normally played in videos
waouh....sailing at those speed ; so close with A² and Vincent is really impressive and dangerous, no error allowed. thks for these pics,i was unable to sail this week end, wind too strong for me.
Wow, I envy you. I used to spend my days in Fuerteventura, Sotavento, back some 20 years ago when you could go close to the beach for miles. Now you have to stay near the Rene Egli center. It is such a satisfying feeling, to hear clack-clack-clack when the tiny wind waves hit the board. The formation flying you did needs lots of confidence and skill. Anyway, 40cm fresh snow in Salzburg, carving snowboard is ready...
Yeah ! we can "feel" the runs thanks to your video... apocalyptic conditions...the most tricky part might be to stop at the end with the chop. Thanks for the vidéo ! 🤩🤩
Andy can you put some speed reading in to the corner of the video? That would be awesome. Great video. You capture esence of windsurfing in your videos man. Keep uploading 👍
@Andy Laufer ....When watching You Tube, by default, I have the mute button set, due to the majority of videos, whose creators feel they MUST inject the obligatory “soundtrack”....i.e, irrelevant, random noise....Imagine my shock when I “tested” your video, briefly un-muting it, and was pleasantly surprised by the RELEVANT, natural ambient sounds! 👍👍👍✅✅✅
@Andy Laufer ...very true....I hope that the trend of “action videos”, for the creators to feel the need to dub over with noise, er, “music” will eventually be a fad that dies out. I watch videos for the immersive experience, not to listen to someone else’s taste, and choice of music....Would make no more sense than, let’s say, someone goes to a music concert, and then there is a projector displaying random videos on a screen...people would say “what is that all about?” 🤔🤔🤔
Incredible and scary stuff indeed. I just started speed windsurfing and I am already hooked. Need to gain 50% more speed to reach your level.... What fins are you guys sailing?
Cool angles Andy. Wondering how deep the water is when your that close to shore? Are you a 100% again after wipe out from last video with you and Nico? Fantastic footage, the close sailing is insane at those speeds.
thanks Bob! The water is pretty shallow, 21cm fin touching the sand sometimes but enough. Neck is still stiff and sore but ok, thanks for asking. Aloha
Great video Andy - thank-you. I was really surprised that your front hand was so close to the mast. Was it because you were using a very small sail in really extreme winds?
So close to the coast! You must have a mini fin, and some steel re-inforced balls. A catapult in shallow water at those speeds can result in a really short neck. I realise, i'm saying this because i'm really old ;-)
Wow great to see how clean the water flow after the first board is ,but why no info of the boards bottom shape etc etc, customers special for these track or..... No customs special for these track!!!!Yes?
So good to see you with Antoine! You guys are out of this world..💯

Nuclear condtions yet Albeu seems relaxed!Damn what a pro
That's some of the best speed sailing action I've seen for a while
thanks Dan!!
Those gybes though !!! Incredible skill.
Very impressive ! How cool is it to check your speed after the run in such conditions (only one hand at the boom !) ! Worldclass !
thanks mate
Super nice footage!! Thanks for sharing! If the angle was deeper that would be a world record spot.
Excellent footage! It doesn’t get any better than this.
thanks mate

Wieder mal ein Klasse Video.

The power of the wind is apalling! I have no doubt that a rescue boat would have serious problems rescuing somebody.
thanks Andrea, exactly, this is why we couldn't compete that day

hahaa thats true :)
where are Antine Albeaus spezail speed sails? condidions too crasy for them. epic video in the hurricane
Yes maybe :)
That reminds me some epic runs with the Bic Allegro in 1990 on Leucate pond. With less tramontane and speed....
Whoooaaa awesome footage
thanks Kenneth
WOW!! So windy!! 😱😱😁😁💪💪💨💨🚀🚀
indeed
So good!

Thank you for the video
I also windsurf, so it was helpful.

I was surprised, when I listened to the sound of the hero9 the 1st time on my home surround system. Sounds great, no music needed

'how fast are they going? Very impressive!!!
90-94 km/h
Incredible and scary stuff indeed. I just started speed windsurfing and I am already hooked. Need to gain 50% more speed to reach your level.... What fins are you guys sailing?
Sounds good Karel! We used a 21 cm asy fin of NoLo Fins that day like most of the time in the speed boards.
Great video Andy !
thanks Frederic
Megageil!!! Seit du weg bist nurnoch welle 🤣
fuer den Contest wuerde ich Welle sogar bevorzugen :) Lass krachen heute!
Wow ! is fast enough !

ALTER!!! Krass! Da ist ja Rodeo wie Kindergeburtstag wenn ihr in den kleinen chops kommt (kurz vor Ende jeden Runs)
hehe stimmt :)
those jibe views 🔥
which fin size do you use on this combo?
thanks mate, 21cm fin
Great video Andy - thank-you. I was really surprised that your front hand was so close to the mast. Was it because you were using a very small sail in really extreme winds?
yes exactly, you need that hand right in the front
Jeez, this looks really really dangerous. I get nervous on my freerider at half that speed. Must be great to go that fast and still feel in control.
yes its an incredible feeling, highly addictive :)
Sick! How fast is that?
around 90-94 km/h
Can you meak a vidio about gopro set up
acutually great idea, will try :)
That was awesome! Bearaway at 2:45 was super quick, and sketchy, you did well to get through that one!
thanks Eric
Crazyyy
Waaaaaa ❤❤❤❤❤
wow👀
So impressive! Isnt' the flying sand hurting your face or eyes while you ride?
yes it hurts, especially when you stand on the beach hahaaa
Wow 🤘💪
This might be a dumb question, but why does Andy sail with his front hand so close to the mast?
Its all about control. In these winds, you have to push the front part of the boom sometimes when the gusts kick in.
Süper gybe👏👏👏
thanks Erkal
T'es un boss
:)
i thought it would be: Antoine / Neil Pryde EVOXII 10.7 lol :DDD

actually as a speedsailor, you always have a stiff neck. hitting a sandback happens at least 1-2 times a year. getting used to it :)
Makes me miss the days I lived on a lakeshore...
J adore tes vidéo +1 abonné 😊
merci Guillaume, appreciate that!
Yippee Kiiiiii !!!
Where do you mount the go pro?
Also love to channel and footage, keep It up
right in front of the helmet, and in the back. thanks mate
Wow great to see how clean the water flow after the first board is ,but why no info of the boards bottom shape etc etc, customers special for these track or..... No customs special for these track!!!!Yes?
we just use the series 45 speed JP board.its the best for europe.
