- Some of my highlights of this year's One Hour Classic. Used my brandnew JP Slalom 85 with the new Neil Pryde EVO XIII 9.0 and a 45 NoLo Model 6. Stuff is flying, soo fast! Until the 3rd jibe - no more wind for me, had to stop and went back to the beach.
Prepared my foil for the next race and had a good start. Speed was good but had 2 nice catapults/crashes within the race. Nothing broken, still finished Top 30 wich is ok for me. Still have to practice jibes and acceleration in foiling.

Stellar videos man. No BS-ing. Just sailing. Super helpful. I had that JP epoxy sandwich foil board. The box blew up on the first week of a month long trip. It had an obvious flaw during manufacturing that they just filled and painted over. JP never honored the warranty despite my local shop trying. They lost a customer for life, along with the 10 olds timers who were on the fence about foiling. Massive bummer. Bought a Slingshot instead. It seems like a lot of folks are moving to the track system and not deep tuttle? Do you notice a difference in performance?

how you naaaailed the start on foil ! awesome footage by the wy and keep practicing the foil jybe so you wont lose places !

What sail sizes fin and foil? How did you like the split fin and foil races versus mixed eg pwa? Awesome video

Hi Andy, vielleicht kannst Du ja mal ein anderes Foil (unter anderem steifer) ausprobieren. Oder musst Du bei NP bleiben, was die Foils angeht?
ich hab die steife Serie, liegt an mir :))
@@AndyLaufer ich glaub, andere Hersteller machen steifere Foils ;)
@@eriii276 Die 1.Serie war zu weich, wurde jetzt geändert. Ich hatte von Anfang an die härteren Masten. Enrico war sauschnell mit den Dingern auf Sylt.
